“My first order was lost in transit and after chasing customer service, I finally received a response 3 days later. I was given a refund for the inconvenience, and my order was resent & successfully delivered this time. I am a huge fan of Cutter & Squidge cakes, so I will continue to order, but I think more customer service staff definitely need to be hired to keep up with the increased demand. It shouldn’t be so difficult to get through to someone when you have an order query.”

“Chocolate fudge cake - ok, but no better. Really wanted to like it, but it was cloying and very sweet indeed - all sweetness, no flavour. I ate it because I will eat any cake. My daughter, whose birthday cake this was, very unusually didn't want more than a couple of forkfuls. On the plus side, it arrived in good shape and kept well for several days in the fridge. But we will probably play safe and use Betty's next time. Disappointed.”

“I think due to cream the cake had a very short shelf life. Even in the fridge it didn’t taste fresh - maybe it was out too long for delivery.”

“The product was acceptable, they were presented well, but I felt that they really lacked much flavour and what flavour we could taste seemed very synthetic in our mouths. We didnt eat them all in the end as we weren't too impressed as we had hoped.”

“It took 5 minutes for it to melt with multiple trips to the microwave and back. The biscuits weren't that great either, half of them cane broken in the box. There are other items of better value on the website.”

“A little disappointing. The biscuits were tasty, but variable in size and a smaller than I would expect from a premium product. The website was challenging as the sizes of products was unclear. I would have been better off popping to Sainsburys!”

“I checked first of all that delivery was available to Northern Ireland beforehand. I ordered the Afternoon Tea box to be delivered on Friday 12th February but it wasn’t delivered until Monday 15th February. The scones were hard and the ice block pouch to keep the clotted cream fresh was water, therefore we didn’t want to risk using the clotted cream. The brownies and lemon drizzle cake were absolutely delicious.”

“Pre-ordered gift and was pleased with the communications to keep me informed. Arrived on time, however 3 of the 4 hot chocolate bombs had broken in transit. Whilst this did not effect the taste if did spoil the overall effect - since they were due to be melted, in a mug and reveal the marshmallows in side.”

“Everything tasted nice but the comment was that there was not enough cream. 2 pots would have been more appropriate. As the gift giver, I was quite underwhelmed when I saw the opened package on zoom. I will not be purchasing again”

“It was a mixed selection, though the biskies and the macaroons were fine the cake balls weren't amazing. Over all it was fair but I wasn't very impressed by the selection box contents itself.”
