“Shop in Bingley is well stocked, but no atmosphere. There's more life in a MORTUARY than in the shop. How on earth they make money in there after staffing costs and utilities etc.”
“I ordered 3 jumpers. 2 arrived and a brasserie was included instead of the 3rd jumper.
Obviously whoever packed items must have been needing glasses. I have returned jumpers and bra but still waiting for credit. I did get credit for the one I didn't receive when I phoned about it. I will not be ordering from Damart ever again
Very poor customer service”
“The rip off boiler room cowboy outfit targets the elderly. Gigantic WIN £50,000 and FREE this FREE that , all over their leaflets and correspondence. They sell LOW QUALITY overpriced tat items, twice the price of equivalent on Amazon. A complicated return process. Illegible tiny print that they use a premium rate customer service number. My mother racked up over £10 in charges on a 30 minute call getting through and speaking to them. They let you pay later and then charge you 30+% interest. Of course this is like a honey trap to pensioners especially those who are suffering various stages of dementia.”
“92 year old mum rang me to order her some pyjamas, that she had seen in the TV guide. For some reason it wouldn’t let me order them online via my phone, so I rang them not knowing it was a premium number. No wonder she kept me talking, cost me £5 to order a £9.50 pair of pyjamas! Beware!”
“There was a problem with my account but when I rang them to query it, the lady who helped me was so good at her job, helpful and pleasant and sorted it all out, in easy to understand language (which is sometimes the problem with customer services). Aside from that, their products are excellent, lots of choice, lots of size options and in my experience really well made clothing.”
