“We went to Date style studios for a test photo session for our 9 year old daughter. Living in London it was really easy to get to the studio. We had to be there nice and early with a minimum of 6 outfits! Picking them was not so easy and in the end the stylist jumbled it all up anyway! The final product was amazing though and we were right to leave it to them, she looked so beautiful and the princess we knew she was! They offered us the opportunity to buy the pictures and on the advice that she would find work we decided to proceed. Since we have had some great feedback from agencies and things are starting to move really well. Definitely would recommend to other parents!”
“Simply amazing. I had heard horror stories of other people doing a similar process and as I was travelling all the way down from Glasgow I was nervous but it could not have been better. I was really scared when I arrived but the whole team were really relaxed with me and everything was brilliant from there on. I looked effing HOT at the end. As i said, amazing.”

“I spoke to a lady who’d been to Date Style and she made me really nervous about my experience as I’d only seen good things before we spoke. Having called the studio and spoke again to my assessor she advised me to trust them and to work hard as she had said to me in the assessment. I followed exactly the process and have come out now 2 months down the line and must’ve been to at least 10 castings! Having spoken again to this lady I think she hasn’t quite put in the effort needed to make it in this industry. Nothing is ever handed to us!”
“Team were really nice but I couldn’t continue with the shoot, the makeup is not how I do it and I was not happy to go out like that.
I felt the shoot went really wetland got on great with the photographers but I didn’t get to see the pictures! Annoying as hell!”

Unfortunately if you want to work as a model you will never get to pick the outfits or makeup so its important that you leave the professionals in charge of these parts. As explained before you come, we don't show people images if we don't think they are good enough.
“As it was my first experience and I had read some pretty terrible things about this industry I was pretty sceptical going into my shoot. The place was absolutely class though! Really cool place and great people but I could not hack the changing of locations and the speed I had to change and be ready and bright to shoot again and again. An eye opening experience for me.”
“The best compliments I can give have to go to the photographer. We were there with our son Ashley. He is 16 now, the eldest child in the family and can definitely be a bit arrogant and a bit dismissive of advice. The photographer found a way to manage that and turn it to just a confident young man who clearly listened to what he was told to do! I didn’t know he could look so good! Hopefully Ashley’s head doesn’t explode now!”
“Date style completely lived p to my expectations. They were extremely professional and gave me advice throughout the day and the whole process really. The big let down for me was that I was unsuccessful. They did explain everything to me and gave me great feedback and overall it was a good experience and I’ve learnt a lot. “Loved every bit of my experience, came on to write about it and read from other people and saw some people complaining that Date Style are just a studio and don’t get you work… which is exactly what they always tell you, Lol. I get that people are wary with this industry but studios are there to help us with pictures and then we use them to take to studios. Date Style explained all this to me and I;ve worked my butt off and have ended up signed to two different agencies!”
