“We were very disappointed with the service from Dave Benson Caravans. We found their lack of follow up, keeping us informed of what stage our caravan was at and overall customer service after we had signed the contact very very poor. The only positive I could say out of purchasing our caravan was the hand over given in explaining how things worked.”

“We were very disappointed because your staff new, as we lived a long way away, that the van that you sold to us, had quite a few problems, being too far to bring the van back. I would NEVER recommend you guys to anyone.”

“Overall quite happy with our purchase. We did have to get a new plug set up on our vehicle and have had problems when we connect our caravan to the vehicle. Our petrol light goes haywire when we connect the van. Have had an auto electrician look at it but are still having this issue. I did ring DBC but they did not know how to solve the problem.”

“I don’t think that you would like what I say Buying the van was ok but we had problems with the van all the cabinets the vinyl fell off after two months and the landing legs would not unlock but to get it Fixed Dave Benson made us go some where else to get fixed they fixed the cabinets but not the legs I do not think that I would buy from you again”

“Rated as acceptable because of the salesperson we had, otherwise it would be a 2. The salesman was good but We found that “We’re with you all the way” only applies until you pay for it and pick it up. After that seya later....oh and hang up on you with the phone several times and blame the phone system... oh and then the person you were talking to, before getting hang up on and you call back is suddenly no longer there and no one else available to talk to you....sorry We had to get another person out to look at the issues at an extra cost and We probably wouldn’t return because of this”

“Quite good salesmanship, however we were not given full demonstration by salesman on receipt of our camper trailer. And the electric breaking system was not installed correctly and we had to replace it. Dave Benson would not accept responsibility for that. A note about the camper, the rims are rusting and it is only 3 years old, we have had it garaged except when in use.”

“We’ve enjoyed our 2d hand Creative van, we did a six week trip around WA early this year and it towed well and we didn’t have any issues at all with it . For a 10 old van it meet all our needs. Thanks Greg & Gay”

“Post sales service was disgraceful at best. Totally disinterested once we had signed. Sales person was excellent but “disappeared” and was no longer available to us after the purchase. The handover was rushed and ended when the staff member’s day finished before all aspects of the handover were completed. In fact left us alone at the yard to lock the gate as we left! Did not do alterations as discussed. Did not communicate between us or internal departments. We could not be more disgusted with this company.”

“My experience with Dave Benson caravans started of reasonable at the beginning but they turned into standover merchants. Their finance guy was very unprofessional, continually saying things like we will only need this from you then you will be set up then calling me for more information at least 8 times before I finally drove off with my caravan. After speaking with many of my friends they all had similar stories regarding Dave Benson caravans….. I will never step foot in their store again”
