“I love my new DCUK garden bird but the only criticism I have is that the wire feet are quite scratchy. I’ve had to place her on her own little mat.”

“Really lovely cycling duck. Got this as a present for my cycling made brother. We took the chance to have it personalise with lettering on the back of it and it looks great. The only reason I have not given it 5 stars is because the personalised detail look to be black pen but I might be wrong but that's what it looks like.”

Hi Abigail, I'm glad you liked your duck. All the personalisation on our ducks are handwritten using the best medium possible to ensure the best finish on the duck. Also to reduce any wear and fading, the specific duck you ordered (Yellow Cyclist) has clear black detail which is complimented using the black ink on the back. Kind regards Jasmine DCUK

Hi Margaret, Yes they do! :) Ducky = 12cm Duckling = 18cm Ducklet = 30cm Duck = 40cm All the sizes are approximate as they are all handcrafted and all vary ever so slightly. Hope this helps Kind regards Jasmine DCUK

“My recent purchase, a penguin called Anthony was bought (from the U. S.) as a companion to Daniel (bought in Fort William, Scotland) I love the two together. The workmanship in the bigger penguin is superior to the smaller one with variation in coloring, but I am happy.”

“Recently ordered both a baby emperor penguin and a garden bird one as a gift and one for myself. The order arrived quickly and was packaged well. I love both the items and will certainly order again. My only disappointment (though the website states poses may arrive different to shown) was that the baby penguin came in a different pose as I really wanted the one shown. I still like it but not as much & maybe the website could show all the possible poses of each bird you may receive so to avoid this disappointment”

“Our dcuk arrived safely and has joined our collection on the shelf. It's ribbon however came loose and due to it only being a short set, it's has fray- proving very difficult for me to redo. Would it be possible to send another loop so it matches the rest? The quality, colour, detail is as always perfect. Many thanks Jessica”

“Many thanks for sending on the gift bags-just back from holidays so only seeing them now. Firstly I love the little DCUKs and have given a number as gifts but I can only give 4 Stars because the overall gifting experience has been spoiled by replacing the gorgeous gift box and straw with a paper bag. It’s a very disappointing change and one which will prevent me from gifting these little guys again. In the box it was the perfect complete gift. I bought a birthstone DCUK for each of my 3 sisters birthdays and need to post each - putting the bag in a regular box has spoiled the overall effect. Please keep looking for replacement boxes, they are worth it.”

“Great website with good selection of unique gifts. I ordered a flamingo as an 18th birthday gift which was well-received. The only downside was that this particular gift could not be personalised with writing on its back which was available with the ducks.”

“The small bride and groom ducks are a present for our daughter for her wedding in October. I am really pleased with the quality as I am with my own small collection, but they were a little smaller than I was expecting even though I had got a ruler to judge the height to expect.”

“Well, to be entirely honest, the service wasn't perfect but what in life is. The ordering was easy, dispatch was speedy and then there was a little hitch. The drake in the postal dept forgot to put the stamp on so I had to go to the sorting office and pay a handling fee. I sent a message to DCUK to show them my bill and the lovely duck in the office couldn't be more apologetic and swiftly reimbursed me. It didn't ruffle my feathers too much- these things happen. I'll still be using DCUK.”

“I especially like the large wooden ducks and have purchased quite a few over the years for both myself and presents for others. They are always good quality and delivery is amazingly quick. My only disappointment is that I wish the birthday ribbons were available on all items.”
