“3 bunches ordered for Mothers' Day and 3 poor quality offerings. My wife, mother and mother-in-law all had to remove dead petals from the sum total of 4 roses they received with their bunches. Will never order from Debenhams again”

“I ordered flowers for my mum and mum in law for mothers day. As i live overseas I had emailed Debenhams to ask how i would be notified of my delivery time as it didn't state this on the website. I never received a reply but did eventually receive an email on the Sunday morning (UK time) with an hour time slot. I don't know if i would have received the email in time should i have had a morning delivery. I was rather disappointed with the lack of communication but the flowers arrived on the day and both mum's were happy with them.”

“The flowers were just how I expected them and exactly like on the picture. The delivery service was amazing and kept me updated constantly about my order. The only negative I have to say is that there was no card with the flowers so my mum didn't know who they were from as she has 3 children so I had to prove they were from me.”

“I ordered flowers through a coupon and paid for them to be delivered before mothers day. They were late. They were half dead I have emailed customer support several time with no-one getting back to me. Very disappointing”

“There were only 3 roses (one with brown edged petals) and the lilies were extremely short seemed so when in case looked odd. Don't feel the bouquet was value for money even though I purchased using money saving £5 discount offer.”

“Ordered the lilly and rose bouquet for Mother's Day. Floweres delivered on time and nicely packaged, but the roses had absoutely no smell and the lillies are still not properly opened five days after delivery, which is disappointing.”

“Flowers ordered for mothers day. Turned up as expected but the quality of the bouquet was appalling. Very few flowers, (3 roses and 3 lily stems and just loads of greenery) and within 36 hours the roses were badly wilted and dying. Never written a scathing report before on anything but these were just awful. Have written e-mail to customer complaints but no response as yet. As far as I was concerned they could come take the flowers back as it was embarrassing for me to have sent my 70 year old mother such a poor product. Strongly recommend avoiding Debenham's flowers.”

“Whilst my mother day bouquet was delivered on time, it was thrown over the gate and left in the middle of the driveway. My mother later found the flowers when she took the dog for a walk. The flowers survived but were flattened.”
