“The service was good, however the picture was unrepresentative of the bunch that arrived. The size was disappointing do the cost.”

“Bought flowers for my wife's birthday, and I have never seen a worse bunch of flowers in my life. Only about 6 flowers, the rest leaves. Expected better standards from a high profile retailer.”

There should have been more than six flowers in the bouquet you chose. The contents of the bouquet are specified underneath the picture on the bouquet's product page. If what you received differs from this please call 020 3696 1129 so we can help you further.

“I received flowers from Debenhams in exchange for an honest review on my blog. The flowers came promptly and lasted a decent amount of time. Overall I had no complaints about the service and would definitely pay for a bouquet of my own in the future.”

“I was extremely disappointed that the cake I ordered to accompany the flowers and wine was a cake mix , if this had been mentioned on the website I wouldn't have ordered a cake mix for £5.99!”

“I ordered 'Mum's Premium Lily & Rose' as a Mothering Sunday gift. The ordering process was easy and they were delivered on my specified day and undamaged. The roses were of lovely quality and really pretty colours. However, the flowers of the lilies did not open, even after a few days. Therefore although well-received, the bouquet was a little disappointing.”

“My Mum was thrilled with the Freesia bouquet.....in fact, it was so big she split it into two vases......they arrived in bud form and started to open up on the second day and she said they smelled wonderful.....thank you for making my Mum's birthday gift from me in Texas such a hit.”

“Confusion over whether flowers had actually been delivered. ? possibly recipient did not hear doorbell for delivery and they were redelivered but later than i thought and i could not find any email confirming delivery only dispatch. Lapse of 2 days from ordering to 1st delvery date available.”

“Disappointing customer service with a generic response. You can't cancel an order as you have to give 48 hours notice which isn't possible. The product arrived with very crumpled paper. I also went through a link with Quidco (the only reason for using Debenhams) which hasn't tracked. Last time I shop with Debenhams.”

Sorry to hear about the generic response. This is a fair comment, you wouldn't have had 48 hours between placing your order and your requested next day delivery. The person who answered your email should have taken the time to give you an adequate explanation. We will always do what we can to cancel an order even within the 48 hrs but in order for items to arrive at their destination at a specified date or time, then we have to process and get the order sent out by a certain time so there's a point at which we are simply unable to stop it. Thank you for bringing your experience to our attention.

“Kept very well informed of progress of delivery. Packaging was excellent but box left on doorstep so as the road has lots of people making their way to Worthing we were lucky not to have them stolen ! Flowers came with a vase which was very nice but disappointed with amount of flowers in it as looked a bit sparse as opposed to the picture on website. I would not order from Debenham's again.”
