“Mothers day package was very poor quality. 3 of the 4 roses either wilted or showed signs of going that way after only 2 days. The whole bundle was over priced and poor value. customer service is just as bad. I logged a complaint one week later and got the standard "sorry we are very busy" response, but had no follow up. Will not use ever again.”

“I sent an email to Debenhams flowers over two weeks ago.i received a standard reply but my complaint has not as yet been dealt with.i purchased an orchid to be delivered to my mother-in-law for mothers day.it arrixed in poor condition and died within days.i have asked for at least a full refund,but a reply has not been forthcoming.i am very disappointrd with the service I have received”

“Mother's Day Flowers was a disaster. Flower arrived as it was dying - there was no card to say who it was from and I ordered a balloon to complete my purchase and it did NOT come with one!”

“I recently ordered 2 bunches of flowers through your website. The first were for Mother's Day and I ordered a large bunch. Luckily my mum took a photo of the flowers for me when she received them because I was able to see she had only been sent a standard bunch. Very disappointing! I had ordered the larger bunch I because I wanted them to look impressive but that isn't what she got. I spoke to costumer services and then refunded the £5 extra I paid but offered no compensation for the mistake. Really not very good service. The second bunch I ordered was for a friend's birthday and was due to be delivered the day after Mother's Day. For this bunch I received no emails after the confirmation one, therefore I had absolutely no way of knowing if/when they were being delivered. I had to ring customer services to find out if they had been sent. They had been delivered but I was not happy at having to call up just to check if they had been sent.”

“Ordered two bouquets for Mother's Day They arrived on time in the post, but were damaged in the box (flower heads damaged) I guess this is par for the course when boxing up flowers to send in the mail, rather than being delivered by a florist That said, the remaining flowers looked good. Sadly, they didn't last 7 days, and were wilting and browning after about 5 days. I could have got better presentation and life from a bouquet bought from the supermarket I won't be buying from Debenhams flowers again”

“Ordered Orchid 'in a card' for Mothers' Day; delivered on time but looked like it'd been run over.. Didn't claim refund as got for half price but won't bother again.”

“The flowers were for my mother and I was very disappointed to hear from her that although the lilies lasted well, the roses were poor quality and started to droop within a day or two of delivery. She is 89 years old but used to be a professional flower arranger in her younger days, so she knows quality, she felt the roses had not been properly cared for.”

“I order mothers day flowers for delivery on the Saturday, these did not arrive until the Tuesday I have sent you 2 emails asking what the delay was to which to date I have received no replies! I am disappointed at Debenhams is somewhere that I shop regularly, if someone could look into my complaint I would be grateful - many thanks”

“well, for a start, i ordered flowers for delivery on the day before Mothers day. Got a message saying they were out for delivery late afternoon on actual mothers day so already overdue. Flowers eventually delivered the day AFTER mothers day so one slightly disappointed Mum. This counts as a failure to deliver the purchased service in my view so emailed debenhams customer service on mothers day to say non arrival and please give me a refund. To-date absolutely no response from them, not even an acknowledgement. I will not ever use this service again and will advise friends and family likewise.”

“Ordered mothers day flowers and they arrived and we're lovely however there was no message with them like I ordered and my mum had no idea who they were from. I had to phone ask if she liked them! Not the best service ever!”

“The freesias I ordered were beautiful and lasted for ages. Unfortunately the Mothers' Day balloon didn't arrive but my mum was delighted with the chocoloates and teddy bear that she received from Debenhams by way of compensation!”

“I do not normally give reviews, however I am full of praise for the flowers delivered by Debenhams. They were on time, fresh, and my mother says they were beautiful and she was able to fill two vases. Well done.”
