“I spent £49.99 on a Decadence Valentine's Bouquet that was barely worth £20. I got 2 roses, 2 lillies and another 4 blossoming flowers that never blossomed anyway. Loads of leaves with it. The extra £8.99 vase was tiny and looked cheap. I complained and never got a single penny back. I suggest that you pay them via PayPal to dispute transaction if unhappy with the quality of the service”

“I sent these flowers to my daughter in law and she was thrilled with them sending a photo of them so I could see. They certainly were lovely and I was very happy with my purchase and have sent them to someone else again.”

“We wanted to send some flowers quickly to friends living a long way away. We had a voucher which gave us a 15% saving and the sympathy flowers chosen online looked just what I was looking for. The delivery was the next day as requested and the friends loved the flowers, which were in bud,so I am very pleased though I haven't seen them.”

“Having placed an order for a bouquet to be delivered, I discovered it had not been actioned by having to ask the proposed recipient how they liked their flowers. They had not received them, leaving me in a very embarrassing situation as they were intended to be a thank you gift, making me look very ungrateful. I emailed Debenhams, asking if they had been delivered somewhere else, to receive a response of "we're sorry to hear your flowers were not received". This was an incorrect response to my question, did they actually read my email correctly? I was only worth sending a pre-prepared stock email. Having said that, they did offer to send a larger bouquet to my recipient as an apology, which I accepted - I had little choice. Whilst the situation was finally resolved, i.e. some flowers got delivered eventually, I was very unhappy with the communication I received and I feel I should also have been given my money back as a goodwill gesture. Flower deliveries are crucially time-specific and in this case the moment passed by about two weeks. It took me chasing up Debenhams to find out my delivery had failed to take place. After this, I am very unlikely to trust my flower orders to them again.”

“Well it was my mother-in-law birthday and I ordered some flowers with you guys but when the purchase came through on her birthday I was really disappointed and embarrassed The balloon should say happy birthday and not congratulation and it should come with a stem but it didn't so the balloon was floating on top of the box message cards they spelt my daughter's name wrong And the flower the mud was all over the box so it was really messy”

“The recipient was pleased with the flowers but had to phone Debenhams to see who sent them. She had not heard from them who had sent the flowers when I contacted her. I enclosed a message with the flowers but somehow it was erased without my knowledge. Both of us were disappointed that the message had disappeared.”

“The Flowers looked very nice but the bunch was very small considering I ordered EXTRA LARGE and it cost about £30. Also I was told that the lilies would bloom later and when they did the roses had died.”

“I ordered the flowers for my wife for our 35th wedding anniversary and stated that if we were not at home for them to be left in a safe place, rather than following the instructions they were taken back to the post office, which I had to collect the following day. On opening there was a stem broken and the bouquet was not value for money at all, especially as I had paid for a large bouquet. Worst of all I e-mailed customer service and they have not replied. Based on this I will not be using Debenhams flowers again.”

“These flowers were purchased to send to a cousin who'd had an accident. She was very happy with them and said all her visitors commented on how beautiful they were. They lasted very well which is more than can be said for the choccie!! I feel very satisfied to know that my purchase was appreciated very much and I would consider it excellent value and service. I will be using Debenham flowers again in the future.”
