“The flowers arrived on time and were nicely boxed. It was clear when we put the flowers in the vase that the roses had long passed their best by date, They were already in full bloom and some of the outer petals were dead or dying. By the next day and despite adding the supplied flower food the roses started to droop and within 3 days they had to be thrown away. The other (cheaper) flowers that were with the roses (not sure of their name) faired better. Primarily because they hadn't yet opened and when they did they lasted almost 2 weeks. In short, for the money they charge I would have expected better quality and for them to last longer. I personally won't be buying flowers again from Debehnams.”

“although I have purchased flowers on several occasions from Debenhams, on this occasion, I was very disappointed in the roses delivered for Valentines Day. This wasn't only for Valentines Day, but also part of our wedding celebrations and my 60th birthday. The flowers were of poor quality and 3 of the blooms were broken..1 bloom in [articular was very obviously broken before being placed with the others as it had a torn stem which was not freshly torn. If it hadn't been for the fact that we were getting married and having a 60th birthday celebration, I would have telephoned to complain. VERY very disappointed in this purchase”

“The only thing was the delivery, they were meant to arrive on the Thursday, but didn't arrive until the following Tuesday, 5 days later. Pretty poor delivery. Other than that, couldn't fault the flowers, the flowers were lovely, and the recipient loved them.”

“Flowers were great, service was poor. Did not leave in doorstep as asked. Could not edit my order within 24 hours of ordering, no phone available to edit order when a mistake had been made. Flowers lovely though”

“Flowers where good only disappointment was I asked for them to be delivered on the Monday for them to be delivered on the Saturday when my partner wasn't at work and had to wait till the Monday to pick them up from work where they had faded a touch.”

“Flowers arrived on time which for valentine's day was very important. The flowers were good and lasted about a week. They were a set of 12 roses which arrived as such, no extra trimmings so had to add some extra touches. Have used them before and always good service and quality.”

“The ordering was easy, the flowers were excellent but the delivery service very poor. The post office tried to deliver the flowers at 7 AM and left a card stating that, my wife was in the house at the time and heard no door bell, she then had problems getting the flowers from the post office as she had to wait till the delivery driver returned, losing time from her day. I work abroad hence the reason I had the flowers delivered, the problems caused by the delivery and my wife having to drive about to get them somewhat spoiled the moment.”

“The flowers themselves were nice, no complaints. However despite picking the day of delivery as a Saturday they arrived on the Friday. What was the point of being able to pick a specific day. The delivery date was picked so that I knew the recipient would have been in.”

“Delivery was a great service, the flowers arrived nicely presented, a great first impression! my complaint is that I've no idea how old they were by delivery day, only to find they were more or less ready for the dustbin after 4-5days.”

“I placed an order for a grand bouquet of flowers for my wife on valentines day and was shocked at what I received. After viewing the flowers on the website (RRP £49.99) and using a voucher code, I got something that had no more than five roses, flowers that were not fresh and a bunch of other flowers that made it disappointing at best. I am just grateful I did not buy it at full price but even at £25 it was not worth it”

“Flowers came well packed and on time, however roses were very small and even after blooming buds were much smaller than the roses you can get in the local florist (for the same price). Do not recommend.”

“My friend was overwhelmed with the beautiful flowers and chocolate. She sent me a picture and they looked lovely. All the flowers were just bursting into bloom and the arrangement was lovely.”

“Not nice roses - supposed to be Deluxe but were very small and already had black dead bits on the end of many petals when they arrived and they never opened fully despite being in water, etc.. My daughter got some from her boyfriend via MoonPig that were much nicer and caused me some embarrassment as these were so poor...”
