When I tried to use it I was told it had expired and that the activation date is not the date used to mark the beginning of the 24 months, instead you are supposed to log into their site and ‘check balance’ to create a start data for the 24 months. (They do not even mention this on the email)
They designed it so you are not told about this, and unless you know to ‘check balance’ they will use the first date that you have been sent the gift card. I was totally disgusted as my sister bought this for me.
Their customer service was shocking, they really don’t care one bit and they know they have your money by then. They don’t even send a reminder that the gift card is near expiry, a simple automated email would be fine.
I’ll never set foot in their store or shop online with them again.
