I purchased a hoodie from a seller and was charged for the purchase. After 10 days the seller deleted their profile, never sent the item, stole my money and no one from Depop is helping me to resolve the issue. I have submitted multiple requests for assistance with no response.

Now had 2 orders that one of Depop's chosen carriers (Evri) claimed to have delivered but not received my goods. This latest incident, Evri claimed to have delivered @ 00:31! I live in a block of flats with a door entry system and do not recall being g woken up at half past midnight! Unsurprisingly Depop have washed their hands of this immediately. Poor choice of carrier and even poorer customer service

Decatived my account after a few days, they only sent me one email explaining why but apparently there was two... now I am owed money from them and i can't seem to get a response, shocking customer service.

depop customer service is deeply unhelpful. i work in customer service and have NEVER dreaded reaching out to a customer service team the way i dread reaching out to depop. it seems like they use pre-written responses that barely answer your question. they see the words “tracking number” and send an irrelevant “tracking number” generalized message. i shipped an item to a sweet buyer and depop shows that i haven’t shipped the item. they told me that i did not use the depop shipping label, which i did. i had usps scan the QR code depop provides. i then asked depop what their policy is for things like this, and what the refund process for the buyer is, and if there is any help for me as well since i sold a beloved sweater that now nobody has! long story short, i have refunded the buyer myself for the purchase since they never received it, but i sadly do not have the item in hand either. depop kept saying “as i mentioned in my last email” rudely, but none of their emails or responses had answered any of my questions in a helpful way. i have personally filed a claim with USPS but that never ends in any helpful resolution. i exchanged 14 or 15 back and forth emails with depop CS and not a single response was applicable or helpful in any way. just an absolute bummer. i’m out of a sweater, and my sweet buyer doesn’t have the sweater they paid for and were so excited to receive. depop really needs to upgrade their customer service policies and make it more personal, or at least make it SEEM like their representatives are actually reading your emails. makes me rethink selling on depop, and it seems like everyone else agrees. disappointing and stressful for no reason!

Absolutely terrible. I ordered an item which was not as described. Depop accepted the reason for my return and I returned it. I gave them proof of postage and receipt of the returned item. Then because I didn’t receive any refund. After numerous emails Depop stopped responding. I was paying through instalments. The first instalment was not refunded and the other 2 were pending. The total being £150! I eventually had to contact Klarna who I was paying through. Klarna were great. The seller was great. Depop were terrible.

I spent a full evening attempting to get set up on Depop. My drivers licence and ,passport photos..all turned down ,I scanned them over and over....no idea why,totally frustrating and nobody to contact .... that's AFTER discovering I had to download PayPal to sell on depop...I'm gonna stick to apps that don't require hours to get set up. Hated it!

Made a purchase, delivery was quick but weren't happy with the product so contacted the seller and customer service, the customer support was beyond helpful, I honestly have never come across any customer support to be so supportive, responsive ever. Had issue resolved within days, got my refund and was vene been told I didn't need to return the product but I really have no intention on keeping it. It's only fair to return it since I been given the refund. Anyway, it's a trustworthy site from my personal experience.

Customer service attitude, horrible close my account on item not supposed to be on there but everyone else is selling the same item. I find it very odd and customer service just does not help onto better things they need a lot of fixing and there’s tons of new 2025 platforms don’t stress yourself out on this one when they are way better ones now Everything happens for a reason.

My account was suspended the day after it was created and they didn't provide an explanation for it. There are great selling apps out there, this is not one of them.

DEPOP should be closed down with how bad it is! DEPOP is a SCAM for sure!!! My first account got suspended claiming the photos were not my own when In fact they were mine! A few years later I make a new account under my married name and My account got suspended for no reason within 24 hours and can’t get in to even find out. Rubbish site would not recommend at all

Avoid Luanna Campos and her Depop store, "No1sghost" on Instagram I had an absolutely terrible experience with Luanna Campos. She called us "fried ass" and then had the audacity to play the victim when I tried to defend myself. After her rude comment, Luanna began harassing and bullying me on Instagram, all while refusing to take any responsibility for her actions. It's clear that she's more interested in creating drama than conducting herself with any decency. Luanna’s behavior is a classic example of someone who won’t own up to their mistakes, instead choosing to defame others to cover for her own ignorance and lack of professionalism. She’s been cropping out images and screenshots to twist the narrative, which only shows how desperate she is to avoid accountability. It’s unfortunate, but her actions speak volumes about her character. I’d strongly advise against supporting her Depop store. People like Luanna, who refuse to take responsibility for their behavior and treat others with disrespect, shouldn’t be allowed to thrive in business. Stay far away from this one—she’s not worth your time or money.

I would give zero stars if I could. My son used this app and was completely ripped off by some piece of sh** loser who steals from children. His user name was codymarry80 on depop, his Instagram is resellprince_sc. Feel free to call his sorry a** out. I am moving forward with taking criminal action, filing a police report and demanding how scum like this isn't vetted. Depop has not responded to me or my son after several attempts. Criminal charges will be brought to them as well, seeing as this is a pattern for them based on reviews.

Worst selling app I’ve used. Permanently deleted my account because it “broke our company guidelines” when I asked to see what guidelines I broke, they then couldn’t give me a full explanation. After the appeal they said the decision was final and have deleted my account which had over 11k followers. Considering the item was up for sale for 18 months before the issue, it’s comical how badly run and managed the company is. Money takes way too long to enter account. A fair few customers would break or damage intact items and even when proving the item was in perfect condition before send off, they still side with the customer giving them a full refund and me a unsellable item. STICK TO VINTED!!!

This site is a complete joke. Poor customer service that answers your email after a few days from Great Britain. My daughter was selling many items for months then they suspended her after she used a photo from the person she bought the dress from awhile back. Everybody on DEPOP is using internet photos. Search handbags and you will see that they are all using professional photos from the luxury brand’s website. My daughter appealed 3x and begged them bc it was her only sources of income while in college. They told her that she is a danger to the depop community?! different customer reps answer each time so she gets different answers. Time for CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT.

I purchased a pair of white jeans which arrived with a stain on them. I informed the buyer who said she had sent the jeans in perfect condition. I then informed Depop who asked for a photo, which I sent. They responded they had 'determined that the item is as described and we will not be proceeding with any further action'. They refused my any right to appeal or any refund. Total waste of money and really shocking customer service. I will NEVER use this platform again.

I put a bag up for sale, i sold the bag, depop took their 10% fee immediately and straight after that, i got an email from Depop saying they had suspended my account due to infringement reasons. Now if i infringed the terms and conditions and my account was suspended, why wasnt the money returned to me or the buyer? No, they kept the money, which to my mind is infringement and a fraud. I would not go near this website, stay clear.

I purchased a bracelet for $150. I never received it. I have been waiting since August 2024. When I go in the app, it just says awaiting shipment. I contacted the seller several times but I have not received an email back. This is the worst company I have ever purchased from. They are scammers. DO NOT, AND I REPEAT, DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!!

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLATFORM. They will suspend your account without telling you what you violated. I listed 4 items of jewelry and they didnt violate any policies etc then week later I'm suspended. Sent several emails and they won't explain why I was suspended. So if you want drama and unprofessional customer service this is the place for you. Still haven't received any response to this day. AGAIN I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLATFORM GO TO EBAY POSHMARK OR MERCARI.

Ordered twice from this app one time my product wasn’t shipped for 10 days so they gave me my money back second time my product didn’t ship it’s been 2 weeks now, the seller is not answering my messages and the app is not answering my emails so it’s currently under dispute with American Express, I paid $230 for a belt and they just disappeared on me. Don’t order in this app I think most of the sellers are scammers.
