This site is a complete joke. Poor customer service that answers your email after a few days from Great Britain. My daughter was selling many items for months then they suspended her after she used a photo from the person she bought the dress from awhile back. Everybody on DEPOP is using internet photos. Search handbags and you will see that they are all using professional photos from the luxury brand’s website. My daughter appealed 3x and begged them bc it was her only sources of income while in college. They told her that she is a danger to the depop community?! different customer reps answer each time so she gets different answers. Time for CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT.

I purchased a pair of white jeans which arrived with a stain on them. I informed the buyer who said she had sent the jeans in perfect condition. I then informed Depop who asked for a photo, which I sent. They responded they had 'determined that the item is as described and we will not be proceeding with any further action'. They refused my any right to appeal or any refund. Total waste of money and really shocking customer service. I will NEVER use this platform again.

I put a bag up for sale, i sold the bag, depop took their 10% fee immediately and straight after that, i got an email from Depop saying they had suspended my account due to infringement reasons. Now if i infringed the terms and conditions and my account was suspended, why wasnt the money returned to me or the buyer? No, they kept the money, which to my mind is infringement and a fraud. I would not go near this website, stay clear.

I purchased a bracelet for $150. I never received it. I have been waiting since August 2024. When I go in the app, it just says awaiting shipment. I contacted the seller several times but I have not received an email back. This is the worst company I have ever purchased from. They are scammers. DO NOT, AND I REPEAT, DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!!

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLATFORM. They will suspend your account without telling you what you violated. I listed 4 items of jewelry and they didnt violate any policies etc then week later I'm suspended. Sent several emails and they won't explain why I was suspended. So if you want drama and unprofessional customer service this is the place for you. Still haven't received any response to this day. AGAIN I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLATFORM GO TO EBAY POSHMARK OR MERCARI.

Ordered twice from this app one time my product wasn’t shipped for 10 days so they gave me my money back second time my product didn’t ship it’s been 2 weeks now, the seller is not answering my messages and the app is not answering my emails so it’s currently under dispute with American Express, I paid $230 for a belt and they just disappeared on me. Don’t order in this app I think most of the sellers are scammers.

Terrible company and pretty sure scammers R us. Brought 2 items.Recived 0 Was told the first parcel(trainers) was delivered via tracker(I could not see the parcel anywhere on that tracker) view for 3 days still same then following day forgot to check as it says .....you will only see parcel tracked "when out on delivery " Low and behold ......the delivery was made on the 4th day and I only find out when I check the tracker on the 5th day "tracker:you received your parcel yesterday!" STRANGE....no one in my house took a parcel or nxt door or left in a safe place. Sellers disappeared,by all accounts the £80 trainers I bought were sent 2nd class ....so the insurance valve is no more than £20.if I get that!! 2.Item.........wait 10 days for response from seller(been away ......ok) wait another 3 day ....nothing so send message....receive message from buyer nxt day and depop Refund!! OK.....now have to wait 5/10 working days for this.........on the 9th day today! Let's see!!!!"😍

Seller sold me faulty goods, Trainers with broken factenings. Depop wouldn't even organise a return saying item was as described. Despite many attempts to rectify this and appeal Depop continued to be unhelpfull and unsupportive. Rubbish customer service and buyer protection is worthless. Stick to eBay and Vinted. Depop sucks..

My account was hacked and I couldn’t get the funds from a recent sale. I contacted Depop multiple times over 3 months to get help and have had no assistance. So frustrating!!

depop is the worst company with the worst customer service. I purchase a $70 large HK plush and usps messed up delivering my package to an abandoned house. I contacted depop about it, they said to receive proof. Once I did so, they completely stopped responding to emails and direct messages on social medias. For 2 weeks after constantly emailing them, not one acknowledgment email was sent to me. So i went to my bank to dispute the purchase, then depop suddenly emails me saying my account may get deleted for not going straight to them? Like I went straight to you for 2 weeks. Terrible customer service, terrible company.

Don’t use Depop I got banned for selling items they said were fake when they had all legit tags on them, I appeal but the dim witted customer service rep was going off the listings that probably got picked up by bots. Licenced reproduction jerseys shirts are not fake especially when made by well known brands as they are a throwback type jersey but no Depop went off the bot listings picked up. Totally fools and turkeys run the site no wonder EBay had stood the test of time plus I was sick of the ridiculous low ball offers lower than eBay and the begging to reduce prices then verbally abusing me in a direct message. Yeah not back Depop is the worse selling platform that ever existed if I could give less than one star I would. So real branded items with the legit tags are fake, um ok in what universe Depop, bunch of idiots over there when a dodo bird is smarter than these baffons !!!

Deceptive listings, condescending help staff I purchased a shirt labelled as men's large. When it arrived it was clearly a minimum of two sizes too small. I proved this with multiple photos. I complained and was met with weapons grade condescension from their help person ‘Alyssa Niña C’ who told me to 'keep in mind that many items purchased on Depop may be vintage or pre-loved.' as if that would somehow alter the deception in dimensions I have encountered. After responding that this was not good enough I received another message, this time from a ‘Surelan C’, with a grammatically inept repeat that they were happy with the deceptive listing. I see that Depop have a score of 1.3 on here. I'm surprised it's that high and it wouldn't be entirely surprising if it was down to their staff desperately writing fake five star reviews. Bought a pair of shoes listed as W’s sizing. I already own different pairs from the same brand and these were huge compared to, they were clearly M’s. Tried to speak with the CS and explain the issue, however they said there was nothing they could do. At the question: I want to resell them but if a buyer asks “is this W’s or Ms?” What should I respond? They said to compare it with other shoes (I’ve clearly done that before the enquire 😂). However wanted to cancel my account and couldn’t because I need to wait 14 days after a transaction, quite ridiculous policy on this point. I’ve also paid for the buyer protection fee and got no help.

My daughter bought a t-shirt through the app. After finish the transaction of payment the seller is inactivated. We lost our money. Didn't know how to get our money back. Worst app ever. No tools to protect its own customer from the "shitty" Scammer who try to take the hard earning money from us. Terrible.

they kicked me off the site saying I was selling fake items. My items were not fake. They are authentic. They do not have true authenticators, but yet they feel they have the right to say what is real and what is not real. Not only do they kick you off for false reasons then they take the money from your sales and don’t give it to you. I have five star reviews from everyone I sold to. When I sold the StockX, they said my items were real. This is a bad site ran badly. They do not take care of their sellers. They do not take care of their buyers. I looked at the Internet I would’ve never sold through this company. If my review helps you one person I have done the right thing. This company is helping no one but themselves.

Reading your reviews. Your company has no ethics, morals or integrity! Your company doesn’t value your customers/ clients. Shame on you for allowing such theft going on and you don’t back up your sellers at all and you believe the lies from your customers. My daughter sold goods on your site and you allowed and took another person word over her documents, photos, receipts and she had proven to your company the TRUTH!! Unfortunately, your company is a big scam and you have folks working g behind the scenes and folks hard earn money for your petty fees. You have no business ethics to have your CEO call and resolve these matters instead, you send out a generic so called agreement and say oh well, and go about your merry way as you make millions because of your unprofessional practices ! I’m blown away of how you conduct your business and steal from your sellers.. God will see Justice served! I’m surprised your not shut down by the horrific reviews you have .. Folks should read the reviews before posting your goods on a shady website called Depop… What this says to me is .. you got POPPED BECAUSE I STOLE TOUR MONEY in nickel and diming folks hundreds of dollars and giving a customer( scammer) money back not to mention, the customer didn’t mail the goods back to the sender!! That’s called stealing which your buyer is In breach of contract on their end. Your company can’t be trusted!! Y’all need to clean up your act and pay back what your stealing customers stoled!!

Don’t use Depop. Someone hacked my account and siphoned hundreds of pounds from me. Depop wont reimburse or help me raise a fraud case against the hacker. They refuse to take any responsibility.
