“Really disappointed with this product, the image of them on line made them look good, having worn them only 3 times the insole has moved and they look cheap if I had seen these in a shop I would have never paid what I did for them oh well the joys of shopping on line we live and learn”

All our photos are shot in a professional studio by a professional photographer, but with the nature of natural material colouring can vary slightly from shoe to shoe. If you contact our customer services team on cs@desertboots.com they can try and assist you in resolving the problem you have with the insole.

“Had my Sergeantsd treated with Scotchguard. Today after lunch I managed to tip a glass of port over one of them. A quick soaking with a wet cloth was all that was needed and within half an hour when they had dried out no stain was visible. I am well pleased.”

Hi Susan Thank you for your review, glad to hear your happy with the boots. In regards to the protective spray, this is a treatment which is applied to the boot before dispatch. You can buy a bottle of the spray from the Shoe Care section of the website.

“Boots were labelled 11 but were clearly much smaller, up to half inch shorter than all other size 11 shoes I own. Customer service staff unhelpful and failed to do what we had agreed, such as ringing back with information. In short I wouldn't buy from them.”

“Good enough service. Disappointed that the colour on the website and the 'actual' colour were different. The boots are also very narrow and should have a wide fit option.”

Hi Edward, Thanks for the review, sorry to hear that you are disappointed with the colour of your boot. With suede being a natural material the shade of a colour will vary and depending on which way you brush it, it will also affect the shade. All our photos are taken by professional photographers and are as accurate as possible. If the colour is drastically different then please contact our customer service team who will try and assist you.

“When I ordered proofing along with my boots I thought I had ordered a can of spray and not paid for someone to spray the boots. I'm perfectly capable og spraying boots myself. Still, lesson learnt. Qualit of Roamers are, as usual, good.”

Regarding the protective spray, it does state on our website that we will apply the treatment to your boots before they are sent out, you can buy a bottle of protective spray in the shoe care section of the website. But we are pleased that you are happy with the quality of your boots.

“I would like to say purchased these boots as practical, comfortable and cool. They great for the price, half the price of major brands and well worth it. Ps I have changed the laces to good quality cotton type and they are perfect now.”
