“They shoes did not match in terms of colour and suede texture. They were also very narrow; desert boots are meant to be roomy! You also need to supply an overhead view to allow the buyer to see the shape of the toe. The shoes I ordered did not have the classic wide toe but a narrow "fashion" toe. I emailed you to advise in advance of returning them but I had no response. For me to have to bear the cost of returning the faulty shoes is not correct. So many problems. Very sad. Almost 3 years ago I bought proper Desert Boots from you and they were great and still in daily use. I still need proper classic Desert Boots!!”

Hi Michael, I am sorry to hear about your experience. I apologise if you did not receive a response from us. Suede is a natural material and very difficult to photograph an image that represents the entire range. Despite this, there shouldn’t be a vast difference in colour between the item displayed on screen and the actual product. I’m afraid that the particular boots which you purchase are in fact a standard fit. “I've worn Roamers for years. A godsend as I have difficulty getting shoes that fit. The Sargent is great. Can look smart or work hard. Usually last about six months then chuck them awY and get a new pair. They have more than earned thier modest price by then.”

“I love these desert boots. The colour and style are great and the quality is good. I've worn them several times in different weather conditions - they are quite cool in warm weather and stand up well to rain with a decent protector spray. I'd recommend them.”

“Second pair of boots ordered Fri 4th July on phone. Paid for next day delivery. Arrived 0955 Sat 5th. Even got text and email confirming Royal Mail will deliver this morning. Kept to their word. Boots fit perfectly and would recommend Desert Boots . Com 100 per cent. Excellent customer service.”

As suede is a natural material, it is very difficult to photograph an image that equates for the entire size range as it varies from each boot.
