“This was my second order with Desert Boots.com. Obviously there was no problem with the first or there wouldn't have been a second. I order six pairs at a time, they turn up, they fit, they last, they're good value and I'm comfortable in them. No corns, no hard skin, no bunyans, no struggling to fit feet into pointy fashion shoes - been like this for 45 years, why change now except I order online rather than drag around the town. Went adventurous this time and ordered a couple of pair of black, oo-la-la! Seriously, do yourself some good and buy a pair or six, you know it makes sense.”

“I've been trying to find a new pair of boots for ages and when I spotted these for £25 I though they've got to be worth a try. Really pleased with them. If, like me, you sit between sizes, I'd say go smaller rather than bigger. I'm an 8&1/2-9 so went for a 9 and there's room for an insole and some thickish socks.”

“Boots to longer than expected to arrive, and unfortunately had an inner-sole issue, so have been returned. I have requested a replacement pair. Hopefully this will not take too long. Apart from this, the service has been v good. Yyvonne on the customer service was also v helpful. Hope to get replacements soon.”

“Overall, a good rating regards processing and packing and Product but one negative point is: what's the point in asking if there are any special delivery requests....in my case, please leave in shed if no answer! Then when I arrive home just a Royal Mail card saying come and pick it up. If you are sending it 'Signed Delivery' then no point in delivery request's”

Hi Brian, Thank you for your review, glad to hear you are happy with the product. Sorry about the problem you had with delivery. Our items are sent out on a tracked service which does not require a signature but delivery notes are read at the drivers discretion. Most of the time these notes are acted upon but on occasion you may have to collect from the deport.

“I ordered a pair of boots that clearly said was in stock, a few days later I received a call to say that sorry but the boots are out of stock despite the fact they was still showing as in stock on the internet but they would be with me in a few days in time for a birthday as they were a gift. After receiving no boots and no communication I decided to call and find out what was going on only to be told sorry your boots wont be here till the end of the month!!!! The boots were ordered on the 10th April. I think this company advertises boots as being in stock and then import them. I asked for a refund which I did receive quite promptly but would not advise ordering from this company to avoid disappointment.”

We don’t import based on when we receive an order, however if we have a sudden large quantity of orders, such as in your case it, the shoes can oversell then we have to import more stock.
