“Been a fan of 'proper' Desert Boots since I was a teenager (70s!). After a long absence tried looking on the High Street and many other websites but these are the real thing - as far as I can see equal or better quality than anything I bought in the day! Probably the most comfortable boots I own. Great value and let's see how they stand up to 5 days of the ultimat test at Glastonbury 2015! I'm confident they'll do the job in the dry at least!”

“the boots arrived ahead of time. the quality of these boots is amazing, strong, detailing is awesome, and so comfortable. A big plus is the laces-------strong and robust, unlike the stringlike ones on other boots. will probably buy again. thank you.”

“This is my second pair of boots in the last 12 months and probably my fourth in the last 30 odd years (I like the design and comfort). Although the last pair of boots and all of my previous pairs have been comfortable beyond expectation and probably this pair too, these latest soles wear thin far too quickly to the point of splitting within 12 months. My old boots would go for four to five years and you could get them re-soled too, unlike these I suspect. If they start making these boots with a longer lasting and more durable sole I'll recommend them as good to excellent.”

“First pair got lost in post but 2nd pair were here in 2 days . Super fit, very comfortable and unbelievably £15 cheaper than my usual high street store! Can't beat that !”

“These boots are very uncomfortable because there's material at the back which is rubbing both my heels and caused chaffing so I don't think I will be able to wear them.”

“One week after my purchase of two pair of boots I was informed (on my request after I wondered why status was still Payment Received) that one pair did not pass quality inspection and I was offered to chose another pair. I did so and chose a pair slightly more expensive (+ 12-13 GBP) and was then asked to pay via Paypal. Since I don't use Paypal I then asked if the transaction could be finalized by using the same credit card used in the original order, or else I would like to cancel the entire order. Now - two weeks after the initial order you still have not shipped my boots and status is still "Payment Received". I wonder if I will get my money back or if you plan to ship any shoes at all. Have had a good experience from Desert Boots earlier - but this is truly the definition of a bad customer experience.”
