“I was slightly confused on which boots to order so i gave desertboots a call. I spoke to Shannon and she was extremely helpful. I decided to go with the Roamers original and they just arrived today. I will certainly recommend you to all my friends and will order more colours soon !!!”

“I ordered on the 10th Oct, money was taken on the 11th and here I am on the 17th with no product, still. Website says it has been dispatched but that's all. Compared with other sites this turn around is too slow.”

“Very impressed with your service. Cannot understand why anyone would have a bad word to say about you guys, you have literally gone out of your way for me. Very helpful advice over the phone pre-purchase as i have awkward feet! Kept me informed all along. Received boots within 2 working days and now have my "dessie boots" on. Absolutely top draw, first class service. Topped off by a product that is excellent value for money. Keep up the good work guys.”

“Great service even though I made an error - they helped correct it and it didn't cause much delay. My husband loves the boots and says they are most comfortable. He and his friend had been looking for dessert boots as they were originally in the 60's and these fit the bill. I am now going to order some for his friend so they can both "go back to their youth" for a while at least!”

“NOT!!! Received my purchased! Very very poor customer service. Very poor supervisor . Phoned to check where they were, then no return phone call. phoned again to be told I would receive them on Wednesday the 9.10.13. Didn't arrive then, I! phoned again to be told I that there was a problem with the dispatch and would be receiveing them till Tuesday 15.10.13. Asked for special delivery, supervisor very awkward and un helpful.( I ask for them if at all possible to receive them by the 11.10.13 when I placed the order as we had a wedding on the Saturday. )Didn't bother to let me know...supervisor bit of a smart Alec . I seemed to be doing the chasing....... Still not received to date, no apology for the delay. So not happy with service at all.”

“Having bought a pair of boots from you i found out that they were faulty, i emailed yourselves and was told to take a photo of the fault and it would be examined, having waited a week i emailed again asking what was happening and got a reply that i had to send them back to you and a decision would be made. Having again waited another week or so without reply i emailed again and again untill 4 or 5 days later i got a reply telling me that they had mislaid the boots and did i have proof of postage, and having looked i cant find it so i emailled this back to you a week ago and i still have not heard anything again. Overall this is now in its 5th week and i am still nowhere nearer a conclusion and i think the service that i have recieved is extremely poor and await your responce.”

“The boots were for my husband and he loves them. Very comfortable and well made. They have been all the way to Australia, (Perth, Ayres Rock, Port Douglas, Sydney and Brisbane) and he wore them every day. They still have the dust from Ayres Rock on them so they have actually been in the Desert! Well done, we will buy some more, I might even invest in a pair myself”

“I bought 2 pair of these boots, I went with friends trekking to Asia, Thailand, Cambodia and Laos, I wore one pair for the trekking and one pair for casual nights etc. Both pair of Boots are still in excellent condition, We are going back to Thailand for Trekking next year to Malaysia and Burma and I know what boots I will be wearing? Thank you, Desert Boots.”

“I have now bought 5 pairs of these boots over a 2 year period. How they are sold for such a reasonable price I do not know. They are EXCELLENT in all respects, the most comfortable and hard wearing boots I have had in my 70+ years. The delivery is first rate too. Thanks and well done!”
