“An excellent web site allows you to design your sign to a detailed specification and to see what the final sign will look like. The made item conformed closely to our design. The sign arrived very well packed a few days later than expected with no prior contact from the courier. We weren't in a hurry, and were in, so that didn't matter. Will definitely recommend 'Design a House Sign' to anyone needing a custom service - in fact I already have and I expect to be ordering a sign for my daughter's house too.”

“Very smooth ordering online - clear choice of materials, fonts, etc. Lead time for delivery was earlier than anticipated, and the house-sign itself very much top end of expectation in terms of appearance and quality. Absolutely recommend to others.”

“Not same colour back plate as on web site so not used the signs not impressed the signs were sand colour on line but a light cream in reality.”

Hi Richard Thank you for your review. The colour selection of the backplate was described as ivory. We try to create the computer generated image to look as lifelike as possible however this is still a graphically designed image so it is inevitable that there will be differences.

“I am unable to recommend this company. My first sign arrived promptly but had the wrong font and was the wrong size. They promised to replace it, but after 17 emails I'd had enough. I was told that they'd sent a replacement (not received) and then said they'd sent a further replacement - also not received. The only thing in their favour was the prompt refund.”

“Information on state of progress impossible to get. Unable to reach company by phone and received no reply to my E-mail. Sign when it arrived was what I ordered.”

Hello, thank you for your review. We will always endeavour to best advise on estimated despatch times, however we do state online and in the confirmation email when your sign is due for despatch. During the manufacturing process, it is very hard to advise whether this will be despatched sooner due to the complex manufacturing techniques. With regards to your correspondence, the emails received went to our No-Reply sales email box which is an un-manned email. Kind regards Design a Sign

“I have had to paint over the wording as it was very faint and when wet, disappeared altogether. I'd have sent it back but I live in Jersey (Channel Islands) so the postal costs would have been more than the purchase price. I would neither recommend or use this company again.”
