“I purchased this light to use primarily for trailer camping and it is amazing. The bugs and other pests stay high up in the air and don’t bother us while we are playing games, cards, or eating. However, this light has proved to be a game changer for other things: I was involved in a high adventure, camping trip where I was acting as the medical doctor for 396 youth and adults. In the medical tent, other camping lights simply weren’t sufficient, and when we set this up inside the tent, it gave us plenty of light to treat patients, sew wounds, remove slivers, and treat blisters. Many people asked where it came from, and they happily gave them referrals. Lastly, when my son wants to go out and throw a few baseballs at night, we put this between us, and it allows us to follow the ball with complete clarity in our backyard. Mind you, he’s only six years old. Thanks for this amazing light- I think I’ll buy another!”

“Just received our Devos light stand right before our first extended camping trip. I couldn’t be happier with this light. Especially the versatility it presents while we were boondocking and wanted some light inside our airstream. It allowed us to save our batteries, disconnect from the stand, very portable inside the camper, and has a dimmer control. Outside features are great as well! I would recommend this light for all types of camping.”

“The lights are awesome no complaint there, but when I ordered them, the advertisements was that you get the stronger case if you order two lights and get the double case at no charge after receiving the lights and only getting the flimsy carry bag I had to pay to get the stronger case. Frustrating!”

“These are great lights. Nothing fancy, but just work well. I like the adjustable lighting options, especially for when camping. The brightest setting is super bright. I also use these in my garage when working on my Jeep and when the power goes out at home. I haven't used them enough to know how the build quality will hold-up but will eventually do a review of them on my YT channel.”

“I am very impressed with the light output on the Ranger. Lightweight and ease of use. My only gripe is that there should be a battery status indicator. Aside from that you have a damn good product and look forward to making this an essential item on my camping trips.”

“I recently purchased the light that included the free filter kit. The light came in handy when the Boy Scout Troop I was accompanying arrived at a camp site during the late evening. The light was easy and quick to set up, and provided sufficient light to help set up tents. I tried the light and medium filters to avoid the bugs, but they were still attracted to the light. I had other Scout parents ask me about the light, as it was easy to set up and use.”

“The Stand is sturdy and compacts down very nicely into the provided bag, the reason for 3 stars is that the clip/locking mechanism is very poorly designed, and the u/v shape of the pin does not allow for the locking pin to push through the hole to hold the light in place almost every time. because the base is sturdy im not as worried about the lamp staying on top of the pole when stood straight up.”

“The light is very nice but not easy to use. To turn it on or off or t change brightness you must take the light down. Most inconvenient. It is about time you guys came out with a remote control. I own one light and would definitely buy a second if it came with remote control.”

“Light is great. Wish Devos bundled the lens pack with the light, as I had to buy them separate. Also,wish the stand was a little shorter or able to collapse into a shorter rod length when storing it in the vehicle. It’s a little long as it doesn’t stow away easily because of its length. Overall great light and functions great.”

“Fantastic light that's worth its weight in platinum. There are only two things I'd nitpick on it. First, I wish they had integrated bluetooth into the light so you could adjust the intensity/brightness without physically having to get to the light itself. The second minor nitpick is that the tripod is a bit low-quality. This is coming from someone that has a ton of photography light stands and even the inexpensive models I own are better made than the one Devos ships with the light. It would be much more user friendly if Devos Outdoor had used a universal photography light mount on the bottom of the light rather than the proprietary setup they currently use. I know that their outdoor light isn't for photography; however, those tripods and mounts are easily available and allow for various mounting setups in whatever outdoor adventure you might be going on.”
