“I didn’t even want to give DHGATE one star but I had to select at least one star in order to post my review! This place is a scam! DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING from this company! I was ensured that a dress that I ordered would me here by July 4th BEFORE I ordered my dress! Promotionspace (a DHGATE seller who has a 6th year Recommended Supplier with 6453 Transactions and 99% Positive Feedback posted on the DHGATE website...HOW THEY EARNED A SCORE OF 99% IS BEYOND ME AND SHOULD BE CONSIDERED FALSE ADVERTISEMENT) ensured me that I would receive my dress on or before the July 4th. It is presently July 13th and I still haven’t received my dress! After placing my order, I continued to message them asking for updates. Most of my messages were ignored. The few messages that they finally did respond to, they still continued to give false promises. I’m now convinced, IF I ever do receive the dress that I ordered, it probably won’t even look anything like the picture online either! Do yourself a favor and order from a legitimate honorable company... even if you have to pay more money... it’ll be worth it! Because order ordering from DHGATE will be the worst mistake that you can make if you’re ordering that special dress for your wedding, prom, homecoming etc.”

“My seller didn't have stock. Customer service asked me to request a refund which I did. Then I got a message from the seller asking me to change my refund reason from "no stock" to "changed my mind" because otherwise he would "get in trouble" with the platform and when I didn't, the seller rejected my refund request(even though he still had no stock). Customer service is pretty much non-existent. A supervisor (?!?!?) called Sid told me I "should have listened to the seller. It was interesting how Sid did not send me the customary "how did I do" feedback link. I guess Sid too was worried that he may "get in trouble" for the customer service he so failed to provide. All I can say is, thank you Amex!!!”

“I bought a machine for DHgate company Ausdruck Store https://www.dhgate.com/store/prosalonmachine#listing_store-6 and after 2 weeks a tecnhical problem has been arrised. They immediatelly send me a new handle part which I waited for a month and it was broken. The seller agreed to send the machine back to them in order to get a refund. I paid shipping cost 90 euro and he claimes that I did something (without giving details of information) wrong and that the parcel is stuck on clearance office in Shanghai. The DHgate team informed that he probably has been requested to pay clearance fees. He has stopped the communication and not repsonding to my messages nor to DHgate team. Beware it's a scam”

“Compre varios productos en esta página algunas cosas repetidas de varios colores y me mandaron todo del mismo color ,otro producto muy pequeño también reclame mi reembolso o una talla más grande y es como si no existiera nadie para darte una respuesta,aún estoy esperando hace más de 2 meses un producto que nunca me a llegado e escrito y sin respuesta alguna !!! Para mi opinión aparte de tener todo malísima calidad es una página que te roban y estafan y nadie da la cara cuando reclamas si pudiera le diera cero estrella 😡😡😡😡”

“Order NO: 3121046142 travis_supplier seller, for 72 dollars, I get a watch with scratched glass, broken strap to be replaced and a mechanism that stops every 5/6 hours while it's on my wrist. I note this to DHGATE and the seller, and what does DHGATE do? After the seller asks me to send everything back to China at my expense (30 euros) to get a refund. What I didn't do but I reported to the site. From my money to the salesman who set me up for the holidays, Watch already thrown away, I had to spend with the watchmaker 50euro and it wasn't worth it I preferred to lose only once. Let loose and don't buy anything from them. In Italy these things don't happen. Never again DHGATE to let go of”

“THIS IS THE MOST DISHONEST COMPANY I HAVE PURCHASED FROM ON THE INTERNET. I BOUGHT A HAIR DRYER (DYSON) AND WHEN I WENT TO REGISTER IT WITH DYSON FOR THE WARRANTY THEY TOLD ME IT WAS A COUNTERFEIT PRODUCT WITH A COUNTERFEIT WARRANTY REGISTRATION TAG. DHGATE SAID THAT IF I RETURNED THE DEVICE THEY WOULD REFUND MY MONEY AND RETURN SHIPPING CHARGES. I NEVER GOT EITHER. I HAD TO DISPUTE MY CREDIT CARD CHARGE WHICH WORKED BUT THEY REFUSE TO REFUND ME THE $70 IT COST TO SEND THE HAIRDRYER BACK TO CHINA. THEY KEEP TELLING ME HOW IMPORTANT MY BUSINESS IS TO THEM AND DON'T WORRY THEY WILL REFUND MY MONEY. THEY LIE.”

“Interesting how you have your own Chinese employees, under names, state how happy they are. Entirely wrong way to do any kind of business. Real businesses do not lie, cheat, humiliate or talk down to customers or accuse the customer of purchasing the wrong size. No Refund for you. We are purchasing items from the same company that supposedly pays you money to work. Absolutely horrible , they should be taken off the entire internet in the USA, or better off stay on your own internet in China.”

“They are the worst company to do business with. Not only do they lie about what they are selling. There packages get lost, and they deny refunds basically for everything I ordered three things at one time BIG MISTAKE! I only received one correct order the rest was lost! I never write reviews but I want to spare people from losing their money!”

“FRAUD at it's worst. Purchased a $263 android tablet. 3 weeks later, discovered that I had been given a tracking number for shipment to someone else in another state. Asked DHgate for full refund and received email saying it will take 4 to 6 weeks before I receive credit card refund.”

“THREE different RC Drone Sellers protected by DHGate tried to steal money from me, by sending fake tracking numbers, ignoring my emails disputes and reports and chats...DO NOT BUY here as they have the immoral Chi-Com code that its OK the lie, cheat and steal from Americans. BTW I was forced to 1 Star this review, but trust me these CHINESE people ARE Zeroes !”

“I placed my order, paid for the items. Credit card was charged. Over 30 days later and no merchandise was received. Contacted the seller and received the response to wait a few more days which I did. A week later contacted the seller again. Still no merchandise or a reason as to why it was taking so long. Opened a dispute with dhgate and now waiting to see if anything will be done to correct the issue. This will be the first and last time ordering from this site. Highly recommend that others stay away from this site.”
