“just bought some nike vapour speed irons. £499. although the service was very good I was not over impressed about having to pay an extra £30 pound to have the lie altered to my stance. for so much money I thought that would have been free?”

“I bought Stubbart waterproof winter boots that didn't aren't up to the job.Having already complained about some Stubbart golf shoes I obtained a credit note for I didn't think another complaint was needed. I would recommend this company to others customers but steer clear of Stubbart products”

“Bought golf spikes and paid postage. On recieving them the fixing was the wrong type. Phoned the Wirral shop from Glasgow and asked if I could change them as I would be there the following week. The shop was willing to replace them with the correct type but when I got there they wanted to charge me an extra for pound odd. This will be the last time I buy from this company. “Got an m o t and new grips put on my irons a few months ago, the shafts were sticky with glue, some of the grips still had gaps at the top of the shafts and the club faces not properly cleaned”

“I tried to buy a set of irons 6 months interest free,when I went through the online process the offer was not there.I phoned for advice and was told when I put my card details in I would get the interest free option.When I put my card details in,I got a `thank you for your purchase` message.When I phoned for further advice,I was told I was too late as the transaction had been made. Luckily I could afford the items. On the plus side, the irons are wonderfull,and at a fantastic price”

“Received a text off direct golf telling me about discount on golf shoes, so I picked a pair and phoned to order, guy on phone told me can't have discount because already reduced, so never placed order, got home that night when online to direct golf web site picked the same pair and web site give discount!! so I bought. More training needed for phone sales persons.”
