"Avoid at All Costs!

We spent nearly £3000 on the EvoCore Premium LVT flooring for our hallway and kitchen, including fitting, and the experience was absolutely terrible. The fitter provided by the company was shockingly unprofessional - himself and his team helping themselves to items from our kitchen, leaving cigarette butts and sharp objects on our doorstep (a major hazard when you have young children and pets), and worst of all, delivering appallingly poor workmanship.

The installation was a disaster. Boards were cut too short to be hidden by skirting boards and kitchen plinths, cuts around pipes and door frames were sloppy, and damaged boards were installed. On top of that, they completely ignored the installation guidelines, including failing to leave proper expansion gaps on external walls.
When we raised a formal complaint with Direct Wood Flooring/Flooring Superstore, their customer service was a nightmare. It took months of back-and-forth emails, during which they kept trying to get the original fitter to fix his mistakes instead of resolving the issue properly. Eventually, we had to threaten legal action before we received a partial refund of the £700 fitting fee and a measly £100 “gesture of goodwill.”

As for the product itself? It's just "okay"—scratches very easily and certainly doesn’t justify the hefty price tag. If we had to go through this process again, we’d avoid both this product and this company entirely. A deeply disappointing and frustrating experience."

“
Knowledgeable staff gave advice freely. No quibbling or questions when excess flooring was returned. Product was ready and at the front of the warehouse when I arrived at the Birtley store to collect it.
