The fabric of both pieces was disappointingly thin (even Primark offers better quality). But some of these 5 star reviews are far too forgiving of the fact the sizes just DONT MAKE SENSE.
If I'm forking over $80/£62 for one item I expect it to fit me when I'm buying the same size that fits me at every other store.
Half of it's hugely oversized so you'll waste time (and money - no free returns!) exchanging if you don't know to size up.
Then sometimes one random piece is actually true to size so there's zero consistency.
Please make it less painful to buy clothes that fit, online 😭”
“I really like the unique styles of this brand, but after ordering from them several times, I may find a different company for this particular aesthetic.
Pros: Unique clothing, the UK/US sizing is fairly reliable, I get lots of compliments on these items when I wear them.
Cons: 1) The necklines on some of the dresses need to be tacked or sewn down, otherwise the flap rides up and out, which isn't very attractive, 2) if you have a large bust, this clothing may not fit you. If you buy for your body size, the bust is too small. If you buy for your bust size, the clothing is too large, 3) the return process is a true pain in the rear and takes far longer than other companies. I'm still getting drafted for Klarna installments for items I returned a while ago. Also, if you need to return items for separate orders, you have to pay $20 for each order. You can't combine the items into one return.
I'm glad I have several pieces from this company, but I may just go with another retailer in the future.”
“I did an overseas order which, in the current times made it to me alright surprisingly but when I discovered the item I’d bought was too big, I immediately created a refund and bought the smaller size. I posted back my refund but it took longer than the 20 days that they state in their T&C. So I was given store credit, but as delivery back to them is totally out of my control, I contacted their customer service. It took multiple emails with multiple people on their end and me providing screenshots of my tracking number to prove I had sent it back in the right time for them to finally give me a refund in the end. But each reply back from them took days and days, so it wasn’t a great experience, especially with having to fight for a simple refund.
But now months later as I’ve been wearing the skirt in the smaller size I’ve discovered the seams are popping!! Its a flowy aline skirt, it is not tight by any means. All of this effort, and money wasted just for a subpar quality product. Literally never again.”
