“Love my towel but very disappointed with the matching bag. It's thin, floppy, no fastenings and takes an absolute age to figure out how to fold back up into its pouch. I won't be buying a bag from here again!”

“I love the look of my new beach towel and the fact that it’s so incredibly lightweight and packable. But, despite knowing that it does dry just as well as a regular towel, I just can’t get used to the feel of the fabric. I have to keep reminding myself that it IS a towel and not a tablecloth! I think it will take a bit of getting used to.”

Hey Rosamond, I definitely think that's a very normal reaction to our towels, especially if you've just converted from something fluffy! Our towels are definitely different, but that's what makes them so special 🤗 We're confident that the more you use your towel, the more you'll like it...and the dryer you'll be 😉

Hey Kate, We are so glad you're loving your Dock & Bay 🤗💛- but I'm sorry to hear the delivery process went poorly 😱 If you're unhappy about how long it took your order to leave our warehouse, please do email us at help@dockandbay.com let us know so we can look into this! 👀 Unfortunately, if the problem was with a carrier involving the actual delivery of your item, then it might be worth reviewing the carrier, we don't have any control over how the postal services deliver! I'm so sorry about this. We do hope you and your new Dock & Bay get to go on many colorful and fun holidays together 💛

“Lovely prints. Quick dry. The sewing is not strong enough so the hem at the armpit of the poncho ripped - this has happened to two products. The size 8-10yrs comes up quite small.”

“Was really looking forward to this arrival but they are not super soft and I feel like for the price and for what they promise it could be better... the colors and designs are beautiful but just as they say on their website "it started with a shower curtain" ..well it also feels a bit like one still now. Still like them but for me not worth the price.”

“Ordered before from you guys and been very impressed however the most recent order I have been let down with, was ordered for my girlfriend and was due to come before her holiday, she has since gone and come back and it still hasn’t made it there, citing embroidery issues, this is particularly frustrating as I’d purchased the quickest delivery option so that it would come before she went away.”

“Expensive for what they are (hair wraps). Quite nice to wear instead of a towel but I can’t say they dry my hair much better. Disappointing that your products are made in China. Not much point in claiming “green” credentials if products are made in the worst polluting country in the world and then shipped halfway across the world! I won’t buy again from you.”

Hi Angela, Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry to hear this, as a user of the Hair Wrap myself I find combing and ringing my hair of excess water really helps the drying process. I'd also love to mention that our two founders, Andy & Ben visit our factories and have strong relationships with the teams over there. They ensure all factories we work with have up to date ethical audits to maintain working standards and we're glad to work with a great team :)

“I had my eye on a Dock & Bay beach towel for the whole year and I was disappointed when I finally ordered. The towel was very very thin, you can feel any lump and bump from the ground. But worse than that, it stained so easily. I would expect suncream to wash out easily, like with all other towels I've used. However, this wasn't the case and after the first use it's visually stained.”

“Luckily these wraps were for me since one of the boxes was quite dirty and the wrap looked as though it had been refolded (not very well). Not the standard I have received in the past.”

“We bought some lovely towels - some we bought were not indicative of the color showing online - bora bora beige appeared a pinky, skin tone, not really tan as shown on the website. Otherwise all good!”

“Delivery was excellent. Loved the look of them However both the ponchos were narrower by several cm than advertised. We purchased the large size but my husband struggled to change under his on the beach this week. I will have to take it apart and insert a side panel to make his usable. So disappointed”

“The order arrived quickly. I haven’t used the towel yet. I got the large as it said it was a regular beach towel size. But I think it’s actually larger than that. Maybe too large for a crowded beach, so the smaller size might have been better.”

We really appreciate your feedback and thank you for taking the time to let us know your experience. We design our sizes to be spacey for you to lie on, but bigger isn't better in 100% of situations! (A secret tip is to check out our medium-sized design, usually in the kids section, this is a size down from L)

“I have had a towel from dock and bay gifted to me- it was great to use but unfortunately the colour ran. The customer support at dock and bay was excellent and I was sent a replacement- which seems to be fine so far. I have recently bought personalised towels for friends. The first order had varied spacing between the letters of a name that looked odd and bunching of the towel around the embroidery. I was unhappy and checked if this could be changed and was told it could be. Unfortunately the second order is exactly the same as the first. I had wanted the towel to be personalised to David and it has been spaced as D A V ID on the towel instead of an equal spacing of D A V I D. I would advise best to skip the personalisation unless just initials- as it seems to be unpredictable what spacing might be used. I unfortunately don’t want to gift this so have enquired about options to refund and waiting for customer services.”

“I am enjoying my Dock and Bay poncho. It was well made, and the fabric is of better quality, however, I wish it was thicker to warm up faster after a dip in the Pacific Ocean. I also wish I wasn't asked for a tip when checking out - my first purchase, online, I didn't have anyone help me. This, on the checkout feature, is tacky.”

“Fast shipping, good choice of designs. Be aware the towels are not “normal” looped material but are smooth and flat, hence sand not sticking. They do not feel luxurious like a normal towel but do fold up super small for a gym or beach bag.”

“I was super excited to receive my new towels. I just used them for the first time for a day of swimming at the house. They do dry super fast but I didn’t feel like they dried me off very good. The towel was soaked as soon as I started to dry off with it and I didn’t feel like I was able to dry my whole body because the towel was already soaked.”
