“We are fosters and the support from Dog Trust is been amazing. They are well organized, volunteers and staff are genuinely interested in dogs health, mentally and physically. Very pleased being a foster with Dog Trust”

“We had a great experience with Dogs Trust Merseyside when we adopted our lovely border collie, Axel. They were very supportive and made sure we were comfortable with him. They had trained him well while he was there and really had the dog's best interest in mind. They also administered all of his vaccines, updated his microchip, and gave us everything we needed to take him home. Shout out to his trainer, Eric, who was really informative and friendly!”

“I feel for all the previous reviewers who had terrible experiences with DT. I rarely leave good reviews myself, but I want to share my positive experience with Dogtrust’s behaviourist program, which truly helped my puppy and me. As a confident multiple-dog owner (one dog at a time in different chapters of my life), I was overwhelmed and unsure how to manage my new puppy's separation anxiety, especially since it happens when I’m not around. Despite having all the necessary training equipment, I struggled to cope, and extravagantly expensive behaviourist referrals from my vet only added to my stress. Thankfully, I found Dogtrust’s Behaviourist program, and it was a game-changer. Sara, our behaviourist, provided tailored guidance that aligned perfectly with my training methods, and the results have been life-changing. My puppy and I are so much happier now, and I’m deeply grateful to Sara and Dogtrust. I’ve already recommended the program to friends and neighbours, and if you’re struggling with your puppy’s behaviour, I encourage you to seek their help.”

“Lots of negative reviews and I suspect it's because they're missing a marketing strategy to ask for reviews - that can skew things to negative. So I'd like to share that we adopted a lurcher cross last year and Dogs Trust have been wonderful. First of all, we have a cat and their vetting meant we knew we were taking on something safe. Then there's the free vaccinations and behavioural support plus discounts on training classes. During the process we noticed the branches don't seem to communicate with each other so it might be that other ones aren't as good but Harefield were fab - thank you!”

“On the 10th December 2022 we got Tim a beagle and he’s changed our lives for ever we just carnt imagine been with out him he is the most loving and funny dog and he lives our other dog Paddy they do everything together thank you dogs trust”

“I cant comment about present policy at Dog Trust, but on 9th Oct 2015, we had a wonderful boy Cojo, my fantastic survivor, a Staffs Bull with epilepsy from them, we lost him last week at age 15, it was a privilege to have him with us for so many wonderful years, i thank Dogs Trust, Shrewsbury, for their support on a shared adoption scheme and initial support. They did not let us or Cojo down, its sad to read the painful experiences of people in their reviews, i only hope Dogs Trust can make this a little better for folks coming to them, anyway, the dog at the centre of it is what should matter most on both sides. Thankyou Dogs Trust for you constant support through your Shared Adoption Scheme , you never let us or Cojo down”

“We adopted our beautiful Pup from Dogs Trust - Canterbury. They have been absolutely amazing through the whole process from first applying to after we have brought him home. They took their time to go through everything with us pre adoption, during the adoption and after. We have had him 2 days and they have already checked in via phone calls and also via their Instagram page. The amount of support we have had is amazing 💛”

“Amazing team, we would have lots of homeless dogs if it wasn’t for these guys. The negative reviews seem to be from people not suitable to re-home, people looking for a certain breed only… dogs trust are doing great filtering these people out. Dogs need loved homes regardless of the breed”

“This is our second dog from dogstrust. All the staff that work for dogstrust are brilliant and so caring for the animals in their care The help if you need it is always there and is only a phone call away. The only thing we can say about dogstrust is BRILLIAN BRILLIANT BRILLIANT. Please support them as the do a massive job looking after the animals in their care. Mick and Pippa Cousens”

“Had been looking for a dog for a while and not found a suitable match for us the Staff at the Dogs Trust in Harefield have been so wonderful and helpful, thank you all so much. Now with their help we have found the dog for us and will be bringing him home next week. They have been caring towards the dogs and owners. Don’t rush into choosing a dog as the right one will come along so it’s worth waiting. It is very upsetting seeing people running down such a wonderful organisation.”
