“Item was delivered and couriers arrived 2 hours prior to the planned time and as I wasn’t in they left it on the door step. I’m a lady living alone with three young children who had to move this alone without any help and then dispose of all the packaging. It was missing the reflective panel and also the template to enable the measurements to fit the integrated door. It’s been 4 days since delivery and this issue has still not been solved. Not overly satisfied with my first experience sadly.”

Hello Louise Apologies once again for the delay on your replacement parts - we are chasing the manufacturer on your behalf regarding this and as soon as we have an update our Service team will be in touch. We do offer a two person delivery service where the item is delivered to a room of your choice, this is a chargeable extra to our free kerbside/doorstep delivery but may be worth considering in the future. We are disappointed that you have not had a satisfactory shopping experience with us to date and will continue to work on this to ensure a positive outcome for you regarding the replacement parts. “FOUND this firm online and they had the cooker we wanted at a good price and in stock. Dead easy to order on line and kept us informed all the way to delivery and in time. Very polite and helpful staff only too keen to help.”

“I have purchased number of items from Donaghy Bros in the past and never had any issues. I recently purchased a tumble dryer and on first use it tripped the home power supply via earth leakage. I contacted the service department and asked for a replacement. Unfortunately they did not have another one of the model I had purchased. I asked for a refund and they did not quibble over this. They arranged to pick up the defective tumble dryer and once it was back with them refunded me. I have no hesitation in recommending Donaghy Bros.”

“I recently purchased a double oven and dishwasher and am very happy with both the appliances and service while dealing with staff who are knowledgeable, helpful and polite. I did have a small issue with the soft close on the small over door but it was dealt with promptly by a very pleasant engineer. I have purchased many items over the years and will continue to do so in future. I would have no hesitation in recommending Donaghy Bros to anyone.”

“Absolutely rotten customer service. Placed an online order for appliances that were listed "in stock", I even called the shop prior to making the order to confirm they were in stock. placed the order and 10 days later was informed that the item was unavailable and that there was no options or alternatives. All I received was a email message saying "sorry we couldn't help"”

Hello Colm Our Store Manager has sent a detailed email explaining what has happened and offering our sincere apologies. Unfortunately the oven you were trying to purchase was an ex display model and we only discovered some damage with it when it was removed from the display stand, as such it was not suitable to sell to you and we did not have another exact model in stock to replace it. We understand this is very frustrating and generally we only sell display products to customers who are able to view in store as “sold as seen”. In terms of the delay in informing you about the damage - this occurred as we only removed the over from its display stand on the day it was booked for delivery . This minimises the movement of the product and therefore decreases the chance of damage . It was only then we discovered this damage and communicated all information as soon as we were aware .
