“I have ordered some springs for a door lock weeks ago, assuming they would be delivered within 2-3 days. Tried to contact them, but email bounced back. Have only just saw these bad reviews. definitely a scam”
“Do not use this company, they are fraudulent !! Their website should be shut down! They took my money and like others on here, I didnt receive the goods. I've been waiting since May for the 2 door handles I ordered. I chased up a couple of times and had a reply from Lee Stephenson saying he would chase supplier. Heard nothing else since. Have lost nearly £80. I've been advised to contact Action Fraud and to try and claim money back via Chargeback.
Please do the same if you've been scammed and also contact Trading standards.
I just wish I had seen all the bad reviews before I parted with my money.”
“Oh dear if you’re reading this then like me you’ve probably been scammed, I always thought this might happen to me when buying a fancy suit or a nice gold watch……not a £13 door knob……..off to B&Q now.”
“I ordered and paid. Nothing arrived. No response to multiple emails / through their website contact form. Phone number not working.
I WISHED I HAD CHECKED REVIEWS OF THIS COMPANY BEFORE I ORDERED FROM THEM”
“This is a scam business allegedly run by a Mr Lee Stephenson (if this person actually exists).
Once payment is made all contact from company ceases and goods are not delivered / received.
Also search Trustpilot for www.doorhandleparts.com or doorhandleparts for full details.”
“Really wish I'd checked here before ordering. Same story as everyone else - part ordered, money taken, no further emails or updates and tracking just shows the order as "unfulfilled". Really cross. Website needs to be shut down NOW.”
“like many others reporting here ; been scammed - money paid - no items sent - ignored - well , it might be a small amount , but how many of us are being done ? - making fraud complaint to the police , also trading standards and other methods - also take out small claim in county court against him ...”
“would leave 0 if possible. Like everyone else, appears I have been scammed. Luckily for me it was less than £5 but that's not the point,
Took money and no goods received and they just ignore emails or any form of contact,”
“To everyone who, like me, have been defrauded by this company...
I intend to report them to Trading Standards and I would encourage you all to do the same. This is the only way we can stop them continuing to commit fraud.”
“Like everyone else, wish I’d read the reviews first. Taken my money & not provided the goods. That’s theft as far as I understand it. Will pursue further, how do they get away with it for so long?”
“I ordered a door handle. Money taken from my account. It didn't arrive. I emailed. Lee emailed back and said he would chase. Have sent 2 more emails. No response. They are no longer listed with their 'virtual address', I checked. None of the phone numbers work. Fraud as far as I'm concerned.”
“Door Handle Parts
Don’t buy from this company - or whatever it purports to be!
I think that -5 stars would be appropriate as the service from this company is non existent. I place a small order for a couple of springs and expected that they would arrive well within a week if the website is to be believed. They failed to appear so I wrote an email and received a fairly prompt reply from Lee saying that he would "resend" them asap. Needless to say that the springs have not arrived but money has been taken from my account on receipt of the original order. I have written several emails asking when I might expect them and even appealing to his better nature - if it exists - to send them on asap as he "promised" in his email. Clearly, asap to some people is not the same as I would interpret it. Action Fraud and Trading Standards need to be informed. Even Matt Alwright from Watchdog might be fun. I'm on the case!”
“DOOR HANDLE PARTS (doorhandleparts) ARE A SCAM SUPPLIER
Purchase made and acknowledged on April 19th, quoting 2-3 day delivery. 4 weeks and 4 emails later (the phone line is not working), no springs and no reply. Do not buy from this company.”
“This is either a Fraudulent site or just incredibly slow and non reactive at all. Here I am, Several weeks on, Several E Mails, Several Phone Calls- (now message states that the number is not available) no parts. Not a cheap order either.”
“Initially I was delighted to have a found a site to supply springs for my broken door handle. I received confirmation and a follow up email from Lee Stephenson. 5 weeks later I have no springs, the phone is unavailable, emails are not answered and yet surprise surprise they have taken my payment. This site looks on my evidence to be a con. I am surprised to see that there are satisfied customers out there. I only rated it as Bad because there was nothing lower.”
“Like many here, wish I had read the reviews of the site before I purchased.
Order on the 26/01/2019, emailed support and got a response from Lee, advising he was chasing supplier. Emailed again yesterday and nothing. Well pi$$ed now I didn't read reviews of site.
I'll be wasting an hour now contacting my bank and Visa to try and recover my money.
Avoid company”
