Ordered 200 booklets. They came reasonably quickly and the print quality was good - but they weren't stapled/folded together - so I had to spend 3-4 hours stapling all the loose sheets together.

Hi Keziah, sorry to hear you had to do all that stapling! I checked your order and actually you had chosen unbound (loose leaf) sheets rather than booklets. If you click on the booklet or 'saddle stitched' product next time, your order will arrive pre-stapled. I'm going to email you a discount code which will hopefully make up for your inconvenience. The art prints I received are a few shades darker than the original file I sent. When ordering, I saw how the prints would look but they arrived highly saturated with colour and washed out in some places, not at all like the preview. They are a good company, just not for art prints.

Have used this company on many occasions. The print quality is always good as is the overall finish. However there are a few issues (a) there are occasionally issues with previewing documents so you don't always get what you think you are getting (b) I have had to email the document to them directly as there were issues uploading it (c) if you get it wrong they are not very sympathetic to the money you have spent with them and (d) the website says that documents are destroyed immediately after printing - they are not - so if you think that a confidential / business sensitive document has been deleted when you receive your order it hasn't - they keep it on their back servers for a further six weeks, which is not what they state. I would still recommend them to people as the prices are competitive and the output quality is usually good. Just beware of the issues I have stated if ordering from them.

Great service, really happy with the prints I received. Only problem I had was navigating the website, I seemed unable to edit any previous documents which was annoying. Happy with end product.

This company get the job done 90% of the time and it's a hassle free, quality assured service. The disappointment is when something goes wrong. Which is relatively often to be noticed by our small company delivering regular training opportunities in London. 10% of the time this company's customer service stinks and they are inflexible and unhelpful. On our really big orders they, more often than not, get everything right but when they don't we have to put up with extra workload for us at a higher expense also. On occasion the website has been extremely slow to upload documents and this can be infuriating as can the customer service rep who says 'sorry but I have other things to do'. I hate knowing I have to take a chance with DOXDIRECT. The process is usually pain free but the times it isn't always stick in m'y throat.

I made a small boo-boo in my upload...totally my fault...I think doxdirect should offer a service whereby they do a quick check for any noticeable errors...if there are they should flag with the customer before sending to print. And on that basis I can't recommend this supplier.

Hi Antoni, thanks for taking the time to write a review. For large orders or more elaborate items (such as books and ring binders) we do have a more thorough checking process in place, but we do quality check all orders before sending (print quality, binding). For smaller orders we need to automate as much as possible in order to speed up service and keep prices low, showing a 'virtual proof' to the customer before checkout by way of the preview screen. However, we don't want any customer to be unhappy, so if you'd like to email service@doxdirect.com about the issue we'll see what we can do to put it right :)

The price was great, however.. not the speediest of services despite advertisement to the contrary. Took 3-4 days to arrive on a 'next day' service. Quality is ok. Colour reproduction is.. ok. Customer service were great when contacted and very on the ball.

Hi Daniel, thanks for your review. Glad to hear you're pleased with the price and service, sorry to hear you're not so pleased with the delivery speed. I noticed on your order the chosen options was free Royal Mail delivery. The next day production service refers to printing and binding the document, and delivery is in addition to that (so the order is posted next day and will take further time to be delivered). We'd love you to try Doxdirect again though, so I've emailed you a discount code to use on a future order.

I cant fault the speed of delivery or the helpful customer care assistants who do go the extra mile, BUT I have used DOXDIRECT on two occasions and both times the quality of product has been poor. The colour is dull and the text on my last ID PDF file looked like ot had been photocopied. Sorry guys

The documents were received 2 days late. When I got them they were in a big box, (21 sheets of A3) the postage was £4.50 My total order was only £2.50, not that its my concern, but how do you make a profit? Kind Regards Adam

Hello, Your order was despatched on time. However you chose Free Delivery and we cannot guarantee a delivery date with this service, as stated on the website. If you needed this by a certain date it would have been more suitable to choose Weekday Courier which is next working day delivery. Thank you for my documents. Very quick and good price. I was expecting the print quality to be a little better - it seemed that on the front cover the colour printing wasn't as crisp as I expected, almost like there had been a bit of bleeding from one colour to another. Its adequate for the purpose I wanted, but I would probably have just printed at home if I'd realised. I expected it to be a bit more professional looking. Having said that, it could be that I should have chosen some different options. I'd recommend for speed and price, but if I was looking for quality I would want to see some samples of the more expensive options before proceeding. Thanks

Print quality wasn't high enough, the office printer was printing a sharper image. Binding was good though

Doxdirect promptly provided copies of reports I had asked them to produce. The binding and materials used were of good quality. However, I was very disappointed that photographs included in the report had come out much darker than on the original supplied to the extent of being undiscernible for some photos. It seems to me that there was no effective quality check done on the final artwork as printed which should have picked this up. For this reason I would hesitate to use them again..

The speed was fine and the print quality too, but the price was very high. I had a document with about 20 of 350 pages colour. There seemed no way to pay just for the colour pages and have the rest greyscale. Consequently one paperback print (with postage) was £100
