Hi Richard, thank you for your review. It's correct that they're smaller this year. Unfortunately, we had a very cold summer this year in the Netherlands. That’s why they are shorter than other years. But you'll see, if you just plant them, they'll bloom perfectly fine!
I understand your concerns, but we kept the irises dormant in our warehouse. This is for optimal quality. Dormant Iris bulbs are viable and will grow successfully. Water your Bearded Iris bulbs thoroughly after planting and during their initial growth period.

They grow from rhizomes, also called tubers or bare roots. But we want our customers to be satisfied with their orders, so I’ll send you a private message.
