“my price doubled after a few months i was told its was because of my credit but at that point i never missed a payment and when I raised concern I was told I could leave”

There are multiple rating factors that our underwriters use to determine premium rates, such as postal code, credit score, crime rates, and claims, to name a few. “My partner and I moved into this rental unit in August of 2020 the insurance was in his name and paid very minimal. I think $10 a month. He moved out and I put the insurance in my name, and it went up to $44 per month. Why ? Regards Antonio CEFARATTI”

“Duuo has been the most affordable and user friendly rent insurance service I've found online. So far I am very happy with the service and low rates. Thankfully I haven't had to make a claim and I hope it stays that way. I did move and changing my coverage from one address to another was a breeze!”
