Truly lives up to the rating, if anything, it should be lower. Delivery driver didn't even bother ringing my doorbell, and drops a calling card in instead. Pure laziness if you ask me, it really isn't hard to ring a bell and wait a few seconds, it's more effort to keep redelivering, taking a photo in front of my door and writing me a missed delivery card. I had to call the local depot myself and explain that the same thing had happened 5 times, and they were quite understanding, going as far as to call the driver to reattempt the delivery on the same day. They also noted the delivery notes where it said to ring the doorbell, knock or call my mobile (I had these updated on the delivery notes prior as it had happened so many times). I have had to cancel plans and sit at home waiting for this delivery 5 times. When I met the driver (Scott), he told me he does not work 12 hours or get paid enough per delivery to have to wait for someone to answer the door. He insists that having done this job for 25 years, he knows how to ring a doorbell, so I suppose the doorbell that has been working all this time (including days where I have been sat at home waiting for the delivery) must suddenly decide to stop working when he presses it. He must have magical fingers that momentarily break electrical circuits, or weak knuckles that are not able to withstand knocking a door. Since he claims that the doorbell doesn't work (it definitely does), I assume he has not been able hear the bell ring from outside on all his previous delivery attempts. If that were the case, I imagine the next best course of action that would cross the mind of anyone with common sense would be to knock. Or perhaps myself and my housemates become deaf as soon he comes near the door? In conclusion, I suppose this will remain a mystery because there didn't seem to be a doubt in Scott's mind that he is faultless and does his job flawlessly, my account of events would probably differ. Don't use DX, what a waste of time and money.

Terrible,didn’t do delivery at all but been told unable to deliver to the place because nobody there .the driver lied to me and the company! We are all here to waiting the parcel.no photo to prove .terrible company terrible driver

Just a follow up on previous review dx have kept up to there usual awful service I have now put myself out and stayed in waiting for parcel two day's now and today will be third day as once again they never turned up yesterday as promised. Hopefully it will be third time lucky. I cannot understand how this useless unprofessional so called company keeps going. It's a pity you can't mark minus stars then they would get five MINUS FIVE

Rediculas says they could not deliver as was not home but I was and they did not even try they were next village down can't contact them as always busy parcel is worth alot

Awful, how this company still trades is amazing. I had a delivery notification stating my delivery would be Friday 27th December, I logged into the tracking service to change as I was not at home for Christmas. Then on the very same day, they attempted to deliver my package, with no notification. They push you to communicate via the live chat service, yet today I cannot speak on the live chat as nobody is there to help me, even though it's Monday and within the hours. Been on the phone to them and on hold for over 45 minutes, still no answer. A woeful, abysmal delivery company that just simply do not deserve business.

If I could, I would give these incompetent morons no stars. 3 days waited in, 1st day I had a message to say that they couldn’t find my address!?! And that I had rescheduled, lies! 3rd day I spoke to some idiotic woman that promised me an AM delivery the next day! Lies! Stay away from these aresoles, WHY are they still trading as couriers. The only thing they drive is their customers insane. Still awaiting delivery!!!!

Delivery service is shocking. Had a tv unit delivered by them in January that never arrived on the date it said it would, had to contact customer services for it to be delivered a day late. Had them again for a chest of draws and the same has happened again. Absolutely useless.

Do not use this courier company, the communication is poor and inaccurate. I was notified of delivery on 24th December with a time slot, the app placed the delivery driver (Omar) on my road. Then, the delivery vehicle moved out of my location without making a delivery. I received an update stating "Unable to locate my address, despite being on my road. This was a Christmas gift for a visitor who lives some distance from me. I called at 15:30 but the office was closed I messaged the company; however, I have not received a response. i called again after the holidays but gave up after being on hold for 50 minutes. AVOID and use Amazon, a professional courier !!!

Said they tried to deliver and left a card, they did no such thing. We have a doorbell with camera on the door and absolutely no one came near the house at the time they claimed they were there. I was also at home waiting. This is one of several similar incidents with them this year. Retailers, do not use this company to send stuff!

Shocking company, pump for boiler was supposed to be delivered on the 20tg dec it wasn’t and app says was out for delivery. Trying to contact them through the live chat as recommended. That is a joke. Keeps kicking you off when you’re waiting for an agent. So called (not easy) spoke to an agent turns out was in middle England and not local as was supposed to be. Explained the situation I need the delivery so the kids and I could have heating for Christmas. She said has put it through as a priority for Monday delivery. You guessed it no delivery, so I re arranged for Tuesday 24th still no delivery and live chat agent was useless. Avoid this company at all costs. Luckily heating and catering parts in Newcastle went above and beyond and sent another pump on the 23rd via DPD and that was delivered on the 24th.

I would give it none if I could got message saying my parcel would be delivered 24/12/2024 no time slot so I had to wait in all day and they did not arrive when I phoned to complain as it is a Christmas present for my Grandaughter it was automated. I had no choice but to book it for 30/12/2024 I will have to explain to my Grandaught now why she has no present. Why companies use DX is beyond me because they are worse than useless.

Got a text stating a time for delivery my partner thinks she heard a knock at the door. Went to front door no sign of anyone. Received a text saying missed delivery & card left no card left

Delivery diver knock on my door when I answered it he throw my parcel in side instead of handing it then proceeded to knock on my door till he got a photo off it inside my house

Been waiting since 5th December for collection. Today, the 23rd, they'd said was 100% going to happen. Just had a phone call saying it won't now be today. Just appalling. Avoid if you can

This company is absolutely incompetent. Not my choice to use them, sender did. They’re impossible to contact, not even to make a complaint. They don’t deliver when they are supposed to. I will never use again
