"Great service as always from Eagle Music and the choice of choosing your own string gauges is a plus, use these on my Tenor Banjo.\r\n\r\nThey rarely fail, only if they have become very old have I had 2 strings go in 15 years of using these strings and that was top A strings which are prone to go so this shows how good these strings are, they remain bright and last well often for some time, would highly recommend these strings. "

"My first five string banjo although in a previous life I played a shortscale Irish tenor banjo for a while. The Old Tyme Wonder appears to be well made and is pleasing to the eye. The banjo is also reasonably light. The Planetary tuners appear to facilitate accurate tuning and the banjo seems to stay in tune. It will probably be a while before I achieve a good sound but hopefully the banjo will do nicely for accompanying myself when singing as an alternative to the acoustic guitar or ukulele."
