How do I stop repeated phone calls asking me to sign up to a reward scheme? Each time I have patiently answered, often at inconvenient times and asked them not to call again. The one order we placed for items we found of sub standard anyway but have just had yet another call a out this scheme, at least the 15th call. We DO NOT WANT to join! We return catalogues saying we will never deal with Easylife again and still the catalogues and phone calls keep coming. Be aware before ordering and read the many scam reports wish we had.

Discovered yesterday that Easylife have helped themselves to £205.49 from my 82 year old mother’s bank account. This is not the first time this has happened. She said that someone called James, who had an American accent, telephoned her a couple of weeks ago. My mother is hard of hearing and couldn’t understand what he was saying, but after a while she heard him say “Is that clear?” She said she didn’t know what he was talking about, but said that she didn’t want to agree to anything and the call ended. Afterwards she said that she had a bad feeling about it, so she rang them back and clarified that she did not want to be signed up for anything. However, Easylife ignored this and deducted £205.49 from her bank account anyway. On ringing them today to ask what she had ordered, they said that there were no recent orders and told me to ring their ‘Rewards Club’ number. In doing this I discovered that the payment was for 3 separate subscriptions - to a Premier Gardening Club, a shopping rewards club and a cookery club! What a complete sham! My mother is severely disabled and does not cook, or garden. Having once ordered a £6 eye bath from them, they had her card details and then used this to take advantage of her. We are now awaiting a refund. If I had not checked her account, she would have been none the wiser. Easylife clearly give themselves an easy life by preying on the elderly and need to be stopped immediately.

Just discovered today that my 85 year old mum has been scammed by these thugs. They've been taking 18.50 a month from her account for quite a while and mum never realised until there was a problem with her pension and we started to check her statements. A few large sums were taken as well. Got in co tact with bank and stopped any payments from going out again. I'm really angry and would say to anyone out there to check your eldery parents statements for there own good. We certainly

Be aware of this company as last month they took £661 from my Father's bank account. He is vulnerable due to Dementia since the death of my Mother two years ago. I have been at his home when their Salespeople have phoned him to offer him treatments for a medical condition that he has. On the phone he probably sounds lucid but he is just agreeing to buy things to get rid of them.

I'd give minus 10 stars if possible... What a thieving company this is! My husband received a bank statement, the account was in the red and shouldn't have been... Seems that from one £35 purchase, nearly a year ago, they have consistently been taking money from his account!!! He's up at the bank now, closing the account down... We will never ever purchase from this scum company again...I'm reading the reviews now and seeing that they're also mainly preying on the elderly... I sincerely hope the people who work for this fraudulent place can sleep at night, knowing they're receiving money for absolutely nothing! It doesn't sit well that the powers that be can't get this company shut down! Or help in recovering stolen money from innocent people! ALWAYS read the reviews before ordering from any company... I wish we'd seen these first or I'd never have given them my custom...

Easylife took money from my elderly father for a magazine subscription that he knew NOTHING about!! They took his bank details from ONE purchase he made then went on to take further payments of £18.50 a month for this so-called “Perks magazine subscription”!! Did he ever receive an acknowledgment of this subscription?? NO!! Did he ever receive a magazine from Perks?? NO!! Nothing but a scam on the elderly and vulnerable!! ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!! Got him taken off the mailing list and said NEVER contact my father again-seems this has happened to a LOT of people!!! STAY CLEAR OF EASYLIFE!!!

Exactly same as other comments. Elderly relation filled in order form for specific goods, wasn't even an option to ask for a subscription, but they continue to take money. Total fraud. Avoid at all costs

Just had a text from my Credit Card to say £77 taken from my account. This was fraudulently taken by Easy Life for a rewards membership I never agreed to. They used my details from a previous purchase last year. Please beware! Needless to say same card has been stopped, and I certainly won’t be buying from them ever again. Crooks!

WARNING……Scammed my dad who is nearly 90. Took 2 payments of £77 out of he’s account , When I contacted the company, they said he signed up over a telephone call. Dad is hard of hearing but would never give need bank details. So how the hell did this happen. I’ve taken up with the company and he’s bank to stop any further payments . This company is ruthless. It is actually illegal to sell on phone or at door to people over a certain age.

Firstly if I could give no stars, I would. How do they sleep at night? I'm still struggling to get a refund but so far, nothing. I have sent emails to the press about them. But from reading all the complaints to trading Standards, Police Fraud Dept and the Press, they are still getting away with it. It's downright theft. My next step is Social Media to warn everyone. SCUM is what they are. Wait till their parents ge fleeced, ha ha. Sons or Daughters to be proud of I don't think so. SCUM

Dont ever deal with Easylife, after a cold call my 84 year old wife found she had joined The Rewards Club, The Motoring Club and the Puzzle Book club without any idea that she had agreed to anything and money was taken from my credit card used for a purchase last summer. As the card was in my sole name they had no authority to take any money and it has all now been refunded. The only way to stop these scammers using your card is to demand under section 47 of the data protection Act 2018 that they stop processing your data including details of your credit card for marketing purposes and remove all data from their records. Also register your telephone under the Telephone Preference Service which should make it illegal to make cold calls to it. Hopefully these two steps should make it possible to take legal action should they ever dare to call again.
