Although the seller was a month and a half late, and after numerous requests to cancel the order, they have always ignored these requests. I appealed to Ebay custumer service, AND DESPITE IT IS THE LAW TO DECIDE TO CANCEL AN ORDER AND HAVE A REFUND THEY HAVE IGNORED ALL MY REASONS. I FEEL SCAMED FROM THIS SITE AND I WILL NEVER BUY ON THIS WEBSITE EVER!

I have been a member of eBay about 20 years as a seller and buyer. I would say sadly that it seems like it has got worse. I have have had a couple experiences lately that some sellers have things for sale, but after making payment they no longer have the item, or on backorder. It's very hard to get your money back. I have had a buyer give me a tracking number and marked item as shipped. Post Office had no record of the tracking number. Also, they will keep moving the delivery date to later. When that day comes they move the dated again. I have had to contact my bank, and report them. If they don't have 100% approval rating, find someone else. I have not had much luck with eBay helping get your money back.

Ebay Sellers consistently misrepresent products. I've experienced this throughout the past few years. For example, they will advertise and item as new (like a new telephone). It's obviously used when received. When contacting Ebay, they tell you to work it out with the seller then they will help. They NEVER help. It's their patent answer. I've thrown away more items than I care to admit . The cost to return the item is often more than the junk that was shipped to you. And, waiting over a week or two for a product is completely unacceptable. If other shippers can get your merchandise to you, why can't Ebay? This situation has been going on for the past several years and gotten progressively worse for Buyers. I'd highly advise to stay away from Ebay both as a Buyer and as a Seller. I understand that Sellers get very little back up from Ebay on other issues but Ebay always collects the fees. So disappointing in an ecommerce company that could have had so much to offer.

Customer service is really unsatisfactory.No resolution to my issue. eBay customer service never wants to talk to anyone on the phone.

I ordered 3 x 500ml Senses Antibacterial gel from Raigins at Rochester on Ebay uk it took more than a month to turn up by there own van and supplied 3 x 500ml Russells Alcohol rub which I could have purchased for about £10 instead of the £42+ I paid them they agreed to return and refund, we are shielding so unable to take to P.O. emailed them and asked if they could collect they said yes and thats the last we heard from them - no collection, no refund no way of getting Ebay to intervene BUYER BEWARE you don't get what you ordered and they don't do what they say they will.

Ordered 3 Masks on order for Pandemic April 3rd received message order will be arriving April 10th no other tracking information. And not even after contacting ebay. Its now April 25th no mask on yesterday i contacted ebay for refund . MY original order was $25.80 (3 masks black, burgundy, blue) all the same cost and style just different colors. Ebay send me $8.60 and after going back and forth for the rest of my refund they stated ive been refunded cheated me out of $17.20. Its not much but its the principle . Attorney general is getting a letter on Monday

Ebay I want to informe that when delivery comes from FedEx I always have problems at my house!Packages have been missing!! I have a big sign on my front door that says:Please leave all packages in the back door! Thank you! And Mailman and UPS do follow these instructions! Even Amazon follows instructions and even sends a picture when and where the package was left in the back door! Please advise sellers to discontinue to use FedEx because they don't even respond on the claims! Thank you

I got screwed by a seller on e bay 15 years ago. Received a used broken item that was not clear in pics that seller posted. Just said "used" ! On 04/20/2020 Stupid me tried e bay again. I got the wrong part due to the wrong description and the seller wants me to pay for the return. I will never ever use e bay as long as I live. E bay wants me to put my credit card in before it even states how much the return will be. Seriously ? Do people give out their credit card prior to knowing the cost ?? E Bay is nothing more that a place for scammers as well as e bay being a scam.

I ordered a plush dog mat "bed" on April 11 today is the 23rd i have not received it yet. And no communication from the seller or Ebay. I ordered from 4 other companies not Ebay and received my stuff already. I do not recommend Ebay

I wish I could give ebay less stars! I'm new to eBay and didn't expect to have this horrible experience. I purchased an item from seller, who refused return and advised to escalate to eBay support. After contacting support team they advised me that they would assist, I would need to return at my own cost and if the seller did not refund they would. Ok so I returned the item after which they advised me that they couldn't help. I ended up without my purchased item and a refund. EBay refused to help and assist customer. No wonder Amazon is succeeding as they stand by their customers!

Having to Restart my EBAY account, due to a hacked account, and limited to 10 sales for a month... Selling lighting from my lighting business and working to drive business to the EBAY account itself. very hard to do with only 10 opportunities. They will not increase the limit and their is absolutely no customer service to speak with. I am a 800 Million dollar company and wanting to expand my business into other markets... This is a shame

SELLERS BEWARE. I heard horror reports for Sellers on Bay - no rights, funds held for crazy lengths of time - but stupidly decided to go ahead. Sold my guitar as lost my job due to Covid19. Buyer in U.S. received my guitar on 25 March. Very happy with purchase. Ebay states new sellers may have their paypal money released 24 hours after buyer receives item, or 7 days after. Thank you Ebay for playing "god" with my money - over 2 weeks LATER. Out of work, and Ebay released my money only today 10th April. I asked for special empathy due to my position ... NO!! Ebay, no other company could refuse a persons right to THEIR money like you. My BANK was more empathetic. Disgusting. 25th March - my sale was AUD$4700.00 .... due to failing US$, today 10th April just AUD$4290.00. Double whammy - no access to much needed funds to pay bills, and $400 less due to falling exchange rate over the 3 weeks they held my money. SELLERS BEWARE!!!

EBAY HAVE SELLERS NOT LEGIT!!!! TOOK MY MONEY $51.96 AND EBAY ONLY REFUNDED ME $12.99 I now close my account with them and will never do bussiness with Them anymore!!!!

I have free listing to ebay, but ebay want to charge listing fee and final fee it’s disappointing me. I think no more selling from ebay.

Do Not; I repeat DO NOT use EBAY !! I have four orders that were not delivered, and the sellers have yet to refund my money, which they said they would do. One went as far as to ask me to close my case, and then he would refund the money. EBAY has NO customer service available by phone or internet to help the buyers! I still have not received a refund going through Paypal now!

eBay have seriously let me down & very unhelpful on this occasion. I bought item (order no 8756081251227581) a week ago. Item should have been posted but hasn't. Seller won't communicate and I'm out of pocket of nearly £150. eBay keep telling me item will be posted and I'll just have to keep waiting - so unfair. It's suspected seller marked as posted only for PayPal to clear the payment!
