These people will ruin your credit on their account and could care less about their customers. It is April and I’ve been trying to pay my $14 balance (which was incurred from family children posting and myself deleting them because they were not real) since December. I’ve heard every excuse in the book: wait for two weeks, it’s a technical issue that is being fixed so give it two weeks, we’ve escalated it, we’ve escalated it higher up the ladder, we will send you a special email to pay (never got sent), try this link to pay, and then finally (after spending hours with customer service) they tell me to call Global Collections. I’ve tried to add my card and bank account, my mothers card and bank account, my fathers card and bank account, and my brothers card and bank account. I’ve tried on Apple products, Samsung products, laptops, iPads, surfaces, and desktop computers. Customer service is the most useless thing I have ever dealt with. eBay cares less about their customers (been using them 20 years, 4 years on this account). If you want a headache for half a year ending in them telling you to call a collection agency after you’ve spent all this time trying to pay them, then I would definitely recommend eBay. What a nightmare.

I canceld an order the day I ordered. Also emailed the seller. My order was taking and cancel that day. They shipped out the item even thought I canceld... ordered on 16 canceled on 16 they shipped out on the 18 witch if the seller read my email he would have known and not sending . As far as EBAY is concerned they said they never got any cancelation witch I did emailed the 16 basically I was told I never sent it with I sent again today with EBAY response to that ail on the 16. Seller never reads your messages and ebay claims they never got it. I sent the email again with ebay responding to my email on the same day...the 16. Now will see if they claim they never got it seller I will send back my package return receipt and ebay shame on you. Very disapointed and will NEVER deal with EBAY. Thank goodness I keep everything so I can prove . I will expect my money back when I receive and send back the package. Full refund.

Recently eBay asked me to send Bank Statement and Govt. Issued ID for verification purpose. I usually don't sell professionally but sometimes its just some home stuff i sell on eBay. After I sent my documents eBay sent me micro deposits into my bank account to complete verification and on the same day i got message that your eBay account is suspended indefinite time , you won't be able to buy or sell or not be able to create new account ever. First place why eBay should ask for document verification and collecting data just for no reason ? I did not even sell single item since last year. Second , Why would you treat long registered member as criminal all of a sudden without providing any details on what happened ? They ignore you even if you call or chat with them and ask for simple reason. I am registered with eBay since 5 years , never had any due payments. Third , Its not like we are renting your place and as landlord you ask for my personal details ? This happened to almost lots of sellers/buyers recently. So Beware !! I am not recommending eBay at all for selling purpose. I wish i could give negative ratings.

Ebay is nothing more than another corporate greed behemoth, making and changing rules to suit their endless greed. Dishonest, zero ethics or morals is the order of the day, and their mindless minions (CSR) are all on board. Do yourself a huge favor and entrust them with NOTHING you aren't comfortable losing. The single abiding interest this company has is in creating wealth for itself and its shareholders, not YOU.

I have been eBay customer since 2005 and mostly happy with my purchase until the year 2020 when Corona virus started. There is soo many scammers/ sellers on eBay that I no longer have desire to buy anything from eBay . Just beware, I wouldn’t recommend shopping on eBay even to my worst enemy.

Seller misled pricing I ordered a product from aggielily, put in my info and paid by credit card. After receiving the confirmation I received an email from the seller stating she made an error on the price and would have to re-bill me. Price went from the 20.00 I paid to 125.00. I replied to not re-bill me and that I expected to receive the items at the advertised price. My order was cancelled "by the buyer" which was not true. No help from eBay mgmt either. My first and last experience with them Edit

Please do not sell or use ebay for anything!! They hold your money. They ask you to send documents and then still hold your money. I use to have a great sell platform on eBay and now it has gone to hell!! You can not get a person on the phone that speaks English!! Ebay is the worst and please listen to all the reviews telling you the same as me!! I have been selling for over 10 years and the last 2 years they have held my money so long I no longer sell with them. I am still waiting on my funds to be took off hold where I sold and shipped things 5 months ago!!!

I've used ebay for 12 years and this is the first problem I've had. I cannot believe how bad their customer service is for sellers. A buyer wanted to return an item, which is fine. However, instead of sending back the very expensive Hugo Boss laptop case that I sold him, he sent back a cheap HP laptop case. eBay refunded the buyer without me agreeing and when I appealed the decision they told me that I wasn't eligible for a refund because I don't use eBay enough. Absolutely furious

I recently sold a secondhand Camera on eBay for $2050 plus $20 postage. However eBay no longer users PayPal for payments and eBay now handle this themselves. In due course eBay transferred $1787.92 short by some $282.08 off the sale price. They had taken GST (this was new I never had GST removed for secondhand items prior ?) When packing the camera for postage it was dropped from a table causing damage and it would no longer turn on. I then contacted the buyer to inform him of this and further offered a refund. When I looked for a refund method on eBay I could not find one unlike Paypal where there is a refund button. So I told buyer to request a goods return even though he had not received the goods as this would be quicker. This he did but eBay took the full amount of $2070 and not $1787.92 as paid to me. When I contacted eBay via chat mode, It seems you can’t just ring and speak with someone as I looked everywhere for a phone number with no luck. I was informed that the $282.08 would be returned to me in 60 to 72 days ??? Further eBay was closing my account without appeal, due to activity that is dangerous to the eBay community??? I asked what I had done to cause this action and I was promptly told that they were unable to tell me why and I cannot appeal their decision. I have been selling on eBay for 17 years and I have hundreds of positive feedbacks from 100’s of happy buyers and no negative feedbacks. So I am at a loss to no why and I cannot appeal… if I have unwittingly done something wrong I’d like to know, wouldn't anyone? It turns out that the damage to camera was easily fixed, the battery had shaken loose… so I will be selling it elsewhere, anywhere but eBay.

Be very careful. EBay finds a way to withhold money, They’ll drag out refunds for over a month. They’ll hang onto larger amounts of money for ‘security’ reasons. They’ll add tax to items which aren’t taxable. I’m using marketplace due to pending funds (my money) and pending refunds (my money)

eBay is getting ridiculous. They end listings and ban you for 10 days for things that can be bought in a shop. Looking for a new place to sell. eBay used to be good to sell on. It's got too big for its boots now. They forget it's people like us put it where it is now

After 25 years in business these guys still havent worked out how to send a tax invoice with a purchase. Further more when contacting the seller after delivery to request an invoice a message containing your email address cant be sent. So a purchaser must log in, request a receipt. wait for a response from the seller asking for an email address, then provide an email address then wait for an invoice to be sent. HOW EMBARRASSING and how does a company in 2022 actually exist with such a difficult process for a simple request. I have instructed all of my businesses and clients not to purchase via Ebay.

I’ve ended all my remaining listings and will sell elsewhere from now on! Ebay want to hold seller’s money for however long they like even if you’ve set your payout to daily. They expect you to pay for postage costs out of your own pocket whilst keeping your eBay earnings, on top of that, charge you extortionate fees and what you’re left with is half of what you sold your item for if you’re lucky enough to even receive it! It is not my first time or first few times selling on this account so I don’t understand the lies they keep telling! They claim they hold funds if you haven’t had a sale for 90 days. Lies! Ebay’s downfall will be their own damn fault :)
