“I have been on eBay for several years and as we all know there are seral counterfeit goods being sold through eBay. I have reported these items with substantial proffer and I assume the new Policy of eBay is to ignore these claims and allow counterfeit / illegal goods to be sold on eBay. Another example of a corporation that has no moral or ethical compass and is focused on profits weather or not they or gained legally or illegally. Shame on the thieving sellers and the platform that supports them. First photo is of a real Benchmade with the word Design under the Siebert name”

“Update - after speaking to an Ebay rep they refunded the fee for cancelling the auction. I had contacted them about the wrong price being entered and they said to cancel the auction and small fee would be assessed. They did not tell me that all I had to do is go to 'site map' at the bottom of the page and chose cancel bids and then cancel the auction and redo it. No fee for that. Since I asked for advice from Ebay, had the message they sent, and the only advice given made sure I paid a fee, I was refunded. Really not appropriate behavior from staff. I did complain that for a tech driven company their website is very confusing and hard to find things. If sitemap is where you can see everything it should be under MyEBAY dropdown.”

“ebay,sent email £1 selling fees,i thought i would sell two items,got charged £323.30,,dont trust ebay emails anymore,,and email were 100% ebay not scam”

“Most eBay sellers are quick to dispatch my items and don't just take my money but there's always going to be scammers in eBay who just take your money then accuse you of not paying for it even of you have proof you paid for it and i had to contact eBay and my bank to get a refund.”

“Not happy when searching for something. In search bar i entered: preowned diamond ring. then clicked 'Fine Jewelry'. My results and pages and pages of -GOLD OVER or listed as Diamond, but the full description is -Diamond Simulated. This is bull, no matter how you try to narrow your search you get pages of FAKE at high prices.”

“It never seems to fail and even after 18 yrs if you search and know it never matters how specific your request is, 300 other items show up which mean you have to make sure the one word that changes the whole search is not purchased. I’m thinking of not purchasing especially when the greedy sellers do not accept returns, even if the item is as simple as a drapery panel. If the search doesn’t mention blackout curtain then why is blackout curtain coming up??? Also it may not be in the descript title, but there are times it’s in the description, which means one needs to read and go through 300 items to make sure you don’t purchase the wrong item, especially if NO RETURNS ACCEPTED. If purchase arrives and you simply are not happy with the monitor photos, you are stuck with the purchase. I highly recommend and have learned to nix the sellers who do not accept returns.”

“Ebay has a lot of products that Amazon does not carry. Ebay‘s price is comparable to Amazon. Ebay protects its customers especially if you go through PayPal. - Ebay leaves the shipping up to the seller, which is absolutely horrible and not accountable. The worst part about Ebay which is pretty serious is the shipping it’s terrible. Amazon for some reason you can get it the next day or two days at most. I’ve been waiting for a piece of plastic it’s been 10 days. They’ve got to do better. And it’s impossible to get a hold of anybody at Ebay.I consider myself a good customer of Ebay but they would be able to judge that better than myself. I pray they get their sellers to ship things out quicker.”

“I had a few minor problems but they were resolved. But due to a new seller's policy. You are required to allow Ebay access to a personal bank account. With identity theives. I don't want anyone having direct access to any account of mine.”

“I have found a lot things I was looking for on eBay. The prices are very reasonable. The vendors are nice. They will work with you. The only minus is when the price is great the shipping cost is very high. I would like to have more vendors who offer free shipping.”

“I purchase the item through eBay they said it was delivered I never received it I told them they said that it was mailed to me on the mailbox so I'm just out of $160 I still have to reorder what I ordered”

“This site is okay if you are the buyer but if you're trying to sell stuff you may end up very sad. There are many hidden fees and they will take a good amount of your profit if you sell. NEWSFLASH.. Even if you DON'T sell, Ebay will nickle and dime the mess out of you!! Be very converned about the extra charges. And PayPal will finish the job Ebay starts on you.”

“I’ve had good & bad things with EBay I’ve found now you sell genuine item people expect refund because it doesn’t fit Or not to pay postage on a dress worth £60 they pay £10 for what do they expect wish I had taken it to the charity shop. Get more respect I have brought some lovely things & cheap books off here”
