“A fantastic atmosphere in this historic Victorian building in the centre of Edinburgh. Walking distance to everything that's worth seeing, doing eating and buying in this fantastic charming old capital.”
“A beautiful, well-equipped flat in a stunning area. Gorgeous living space in a period house with an easy walk into the city centre. Many shops and cafes near to apartment. A thoroughly enjoyable experience.”
“Spacious flat, very lightly and sunny. Despite its good heating system I don't recommend for winter. Windows, need to be repaired, specially in the kitchen where there's a gap and you feel like being on the street.”
“The apartment is within easy walking distance of all the main tourist sites - the castle, galleries, Princes Street and right next to Holyrood Palace and Arthur's Seat. The equipment in the apartment is of a high standard and easy to use. There is a lot of helpful information about Edinburgh from the landlord in a manual.Really great place from which to explore Edinburgh.”
“The flat is very well equipped with all the mod cons. It is clean, comfortable and cosy. We were 5 adults in the flat but it felt like there was enough room for everyone. It is very close to supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants and shops. The flat is walking distance from the centre but also close to bus stops. The owner is very helpful and replies back to queries very quickly. This flat is highly recommended if you are two couples or a couple with two/three children. However the flat can easily accommodate 6 adults (two of them would have to sleep on the sofa bed)”
“The flat was very modern and clean, much more roomy than I'd expected. We had 6 people staying and it never felt cramped, the included parking space was a bonus. Great location just a few minutes walk from Waverley station and Princes St. Excellent restaurants, bars and shops on Broughton St just two blocks away and other options on Leith walk. Beds and bathrooms were comfortable and clean, there was plenty of hot water on demand. The owners were very welcoming and made up the beds to my request even with only a couple of hours notice. My only (and very minor!) negative coments would be that the flat didn't contain many books or games, so take your own, and it could possibly do with another sharp chopping knife and big serving bowl in the kitchen. Apart from that there was nothing to fault it. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for somewhere to stay. Great value and a great stay.”
“The flat was perfect for our large group who were in Edinburgh for hogmanay. Especially liked the city centre location, and the great views out over the harbour.
Very comfortable rooms and kitchen / dining area. Especially enjoyed the complimentary champagne on arrival
Would like to have stayed for longer!
Would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone”
“We stay in this apartment for a week, everything was perfect and clean. Centrally located, 10 min walk to the city center. Hopefully we will stay there again”
“Great value for money, this one bedroom flat was well outfitted with all modern appliances, very clean and comfortable. Only 100 feet from Portobello beach promenade and short bus ride to the centre of Edinburgh.”
“Located off the bus lines 7, 11, 14, and 21 (thus giving easy access to the Old & New Towns), the flat is in a quiet residential area. All appliances and furnishings are to a high standard - there's nothing shabby here, though we did find the kitchen a bit cramped. The ceilings are very high and the whole place feels airy and spacious. For those with small children, there are several playparks within walking distance. The only thing that bothered us was the building's common stairwell up to the flat. It is dark and does not look well-maintained at all in comparison to the flat and building exterior, in fact it was downright scary even when the lights came on in the evening. However, the flat itself is tastefully done up: the first picture of the living room and bay window is certainly an accurate depiction of its character.”
“Everything was thought of in the very comfortable flat. The welcome basket was a pleasant surprise, also milk and fruit juice to save rushing out to the shops.
Waitrose is an easy walk, as long as you are prepared for a hill, but you are in Scotland!!!”
“Have just stayed in a lovely, clean and very well appointed flat in central Edinburgh. It was excellent, and so well equipped even down to bin bags and tin foil. I absolutely would recommend this place, it's stunning. Great location, and every need met, what more could you ask for ?????”
“A very comfortable apartment, not missing any details. The kitchen is very well equipped, after long walks was comforting to feel at home. It was an experience that we repeat. If we're lucky and we find a house like this on our vacation, we forget the hotels. My family and I have been delighted. Very close to a supermarket to buy.
Interact with the owner through e also has been easy and enjoyable. Worth it when we arrived everything was in order sy the weekend. Good luck on your trip.”
“Lovely, roomy flat, well equipped and comfortable, about 3 minutes' walk from Bristo Square and the heart of the Fringe. Plenty of space for visitors and props, good shower and WiFi, and clear information to hand on how everything works. Also - lovely neighbours.”
“Perfect location for exploring the city and seeing the sights. Clean and very spacious. Very quiet street with good local shops and pubs. Defiently would recommend to anyone planning a visit.”
“great apartment, it was really more than i could have dreamed of for my stay in edinburgh, the view to the back over the river is amazing, the flat is comfortable and beautiful, the location is perfect. great stay!”
