“We stayed in this excellent apartment for 3 nights when visiting Edinburgh for the Wales 6 nations weekend. There were 4 of us.
The rooms are very large, comfortable and well furnished. The kitchen is also well equipped with a good sized dining table.
The new town on the edge of Stockbridge is a lovely part of Edinburgh to stay in. The location of the flat is extremely quiet but only 10 minutes walk into the centre of Edinburgh (George Street/Princes Street).
I would thoroughly recommend this apartment.”
“We're just back from my sister's hen weekend & had a brilliant time in this apartment. It's very spacious, clean, light & airy and has excellent facilities - washing machine, tumble dryer. The views from the rooftop terrace are amazing - would be great when the fireworks are on over the castle! Although we didn't use the pool area, it's lovely too with a small gym & sauna. The owners are very helpful & friendly too which was great. Would love to stay here again.”
“Booked to stay for 5 1/2 weeks while working in Edinburgh. Welcomed by Angie, who supplied fresh milk and biscuits. The flat was immaculate with a fully equipped kitchen, very comfy bed with soft sheets, wifi etc. It was ideally situated for work and close to the city centre too. I'm back in Edinburgh soon and would definitely stay again. It's my first time in a holiday flat, but I much prefer it than staying in a hotel.
Thanks again to Angie.”
“Homely, cosy, good beds, great shower. Everything is of good quality: kitchen equipment, luxurious towels and even the contents of the fridge. So nice! Good location, quiet. Busstops and shops nearby. Wifi available.
Really enjoyed staying there.”
“The flat is perfect for two, is outfitted with quality linen and is fully equipped. Its position an easy walk from the vibrant Grassmarket and the Royal Mile makes it a perfect base to explore this wonderful old city. And just up the stairs is the Castle. We would highly recommend it to friends and family.”
“Me and my colleague had a great time staying in this space, as we had a show here at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. The apartment was very clean, beautifully well kept, quiet and central to town.
We will definitely be staying here again on our next visit to Edinburgh.”
“We are just back from 10 days in Edinburgh. The apartment in the shore was perfect for 2 people. Clean, well situated with several bus lines to move in various directions of the cities (never waited more than 5 min). On top of all, the place is calm, quiet after the noisy downtown walks.
Bien!”
“We loved our stay in this flat; it was clean, beautifully-kept and had everything you could need for a stay in Edinburgh. I particularly liked the shortbread and the ironed sheets - both made it feel like a luxury stay! It was only a short walk into town and all amenities were handily located. We have recommended this flat already to family intending to come up later in the year, and would not hesitate to recommend it more widely.”
“Lovely bright and airy flat in a excellent location. Very clean and excellent facilities for cooking if you don't want to eat out every night. Small supermarket 5 minutes walk away.
Flat contains excellent guide books and maps and Stephen & Emily were very helpful.
Would highly recommend.”
“We had a nice few days in this flat - it has everything you need (furbished up recently?!), it was clean and it is close to the city center. If you are looking for a great accomodation in Edinburgh, this is the place for you!”
“The flat was everything we wanted. Everything was as advertised. The four of us staying there could not have asked for anything more. It was the perfect choice for a week stay in central Edinburgh. I highly recommend it and would stay there again.”
“This was a lovely flat with amazing views, very clean spacious and comfortable and in a perfect location. We stayed over New Year's Eve for the Hogmany festivities. We were within easy walking distance of all of the events and numerous restaurants and bars. There is a Sainsbury around the corner for groceries. The only downside was the super expensive parking in the building (£20 per night). But I suppose you could find something cheaper if you looked around a bit more. I would definitely go back to this apartment next time we are in Edinburgh!”
“There were 6 of us staying in the flat visiting Edinburgh for Hogmanay and the New Year.
We found the flat in great condition in a prime location. Princes street, Grassmarket and the Royal Mile all within less than 10 minutes walking distance.
Glyn (the owner) was most helpful.
We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and without doubt would stay in this apartment again.”
“Conveniently located at the Shore. Plenty of eating and drinking places, small supermarkets, all within easy walking distance. Flat very well appointed and functional as well as stylishly attractive.
Only one complaint: NOWHERE to hang towels/clothes in bathrooms.”
