“This really is a lovely apartment it's very clean and nicely decorated. There are extra little touches that makes it feel homely. It is ideally situated for the train station,shopping areas of Edinburgh and many of the tourist attractions.The Landlady was very pleasant and helpfull too. We would happily stay here again.”

“My family (father, mother, and grandmother) recently stayed in this quartermile flat while visiting my husband and I and really enjoyed this accomodation. The flat is very spacious and fairly well equiped with a washer/dryer and an assortment of kitchen supplies. We were able to cook a few meals there which saved us a lot of money, a great perk to renting a flat vs. a hotel room. I'm told the beds were comfortable and warm. The two bathrooms were a selling point. Three adults sharing one is tricky so they were happy to have a second. The views across the city and to aurthers seat were stunning. We could have done with some more comfortable seating as there is only one couch and dispite having an assortment of chairs, they aren't for snuggling up to a movie on the flat's big screen tv. Also they would have appreciated some information on how to work various items in the flat. Overall though, a great stay for a great price and would recommend it to anyone looking for space, comfort and location in Edinburgh.”

“We loved staying in this apartment. The location was brilliant - no more than a few minutes walk to everything we wanted to do (or the bus stop for things further afield). The apartment itself was great - comfy, modern and it had everything we could want. Our greeters gave us a lovely welcome. There are about 80 steps, but we managed them with 3 children and a pushchair - its worth the effort!”

“The location of this flat cannot be sniffed at as it is right next to the castle so near most of the major tourist attractions and the mainline rail station. We were greeted very kindly and shown around the flat. The double bed was very comfortable and there was constant hot water which was great. The flat itself in some parts needs freshening-up as the decor is a bit tired, but apart from that it was all good. Lovely to stay in such a historic building.”
