“A fantastic course. An intensive course delivered professionally, but light-hearted. The tutor, Vic, was very knowledable with decades of experience in the Whisky business. If you are considering taking this course I heartedly recommend.”
“My experience with EWA was exceptional. I learned tons of things from Vic who is an outstanding lecturer with in depth knowledge of the industry. I almost felt like I am a malt master...:) I am now motivated to learn even more, and I will hopefully take course in whisky tasting soon! Special thanks to Kirsty, Ian, and Heather who are great hosts.”
“Very good course with good information and videos. Only drawback from my point of view is that it can be a little confusing as you progress through course to know what you have already covered.”
“EWA is the best for certification. EWA is a great group! This is the best option for you if you are looking to get certified in the industry. After months of research looking to find somewhere to be certified this is the one.”
“ag foghlaim faoi uisce beatha Gaeilge. I have a little experience with Irish whiskey and manage to learn some new things in an easy-to-follow lesson plan.”
“In-Person Diploma in Single Malt Whisky. I attended the face to face Diploma in Single Malt Whisky and can honestly say it was the most enjoyable certification I've ever obtained! Vic Cameron was excellent - his past industry experience shone through and he was able to bring the process to life. Everything was well organised before and during the course. It has inspired me to delve deeper into the wonderful world of whisky and I hope someday to put my knowledge into practice.”
“Turning a growing interest into a proper education. I decided to take the EWA online Certificate in Scotch Whisky in late 2022. I really enjoyed it and learned a lot more than I expected to. I was able to absorb the information at my own speed and anytime something confused me, I could easily post my question and get a reply to clear things up. Before I even finished the course I knew I wanted to take the Diploma in Single Malt as well. I'm sure the online diploma would have been sufficient, but timing worked out where I was able to travel to the in-person course, and I'm sure glad I did! I enjoyed studying the online modules in the months before the course, and then had a wonderful time at Arniston House in Edinburgh. Everyone was great, and our instructor did all he could to prepare us well. It was a fun experience and I'm proud of my result. Since the course I've found myself in conversations with other whisky enthusiasts, experts, or people within the industry, and I'm quite proud of where my knowledge level is. Of course always eager to keep learning! I've now started on the Certificate in Irish Whiskey, and seriously thinking about career moves.”
