"Ref:

Eltham Electrical Services
Address: 137a Eltham High St, Eltham, London SE9 1TQ
020 3904 2977
07943208887

Used their service on 16/12/2020

Bad experiences with Eltham Electrical Services.

This is the agency that provides emergency service by a pool of available electricians nearby. Their fee for emergency visit is £150 if pay cash (no receipt/invoice in this case) or £150 + Vat if you need an official invoice.

I knew my fuse box needed replacing RCD switch which was tripping with every MCB in Off position. So, I explicitly mentioned what needs to be done most likely. Jen accepted my booking but did not informed that I’d be paying ONLY for the emergency callout. An electrician come without spare RCD switch, reconnected all MCBs to other working RCD (which was the only remaining in the box) and said that re-visit required with additional revisit fee to be paid!

Dan, the boss, confirmed the revisiting fee to be paid saying RCD switch needs to be ordered and it’d be delivered after Christmas. Can you believe in this non-professionalism from emergency Eltham Electrical Services ? They are available in many stores including online ones with next day delivery.

Technician Taylor, who was sent to fix the RCD, was really condoling and provided his direct number 079 43 20 88 87. He asked to call him directly (to avoid paying extras to the middle man) for any future electrical jobs and agreed to fix the RCD next day for free. He was extremely supportive and helpful. The professional who keeps his words. Can't say the same about Eltham Electrical Services.

Lastly, I am reporting Eltham Electrical Services to Tax office since strongly believe they commit VAT fraud with customers offering to pay cash without any receipt or invoice. On my request to email the receipt for the service received, no response from Eltham Electrical Services has been received.

Think twice before dealing with this people.

Regretfully dealing with,

A. Raz.
"
