“My brother keeps buying cheap auction cars and then calls me when they don’t start. Once I found about emanuals.com membership, I immediately told him we needed that. “The manuals are good, but the support is what kept me subscribed. I work on different stuff all the time and sometimes the model names are a mess, especially with equipment and older imports. I’ve sent them blurry nameplate photos via whatsapp and they still managed to point me in the right direction. You can tell there’s someone there who actually knows what they are doing.”

“You know how there's always that one guy who can fix everything? I'm that guy, and I'm glad this membership exists. “My tractor had a simple hydraulic issue and the dealer acted like the service manual was some classified military document. The heck, it’s a machine in my barn that I paid for! Found the manual here, followed the troubleshooting charts, fixed it myself. I’ll keep supporting services like this because manufacturers need to stop treating owners like renters ffs.”

“Im old enough to remember when buying a truck meant you actually owned the damn thing. Now everything is locked by the dealer, special procedures, hidden menus, and “authorized repair only” nonsense. Thats exactly why I signed up. Im not trying to hack anything, Im just trying to fix the stuff I paid for. Having access to proper manuals feels like how it should always been.”

What usually happens is that your phone's default web browser automatically compresses PDFs to save memory, which makes them look pixelated when you zoom in. “I was rebuilding my old pickup and wanted the proper torque specs instead of trusting some random comment from reddit. Reddit is just the new version of forums so can't really be trusted. Ended up using the membership again the next week for my ATV, then again for my lawn mower maintenance before spring. I’m the kind of person who likes fixing my own stuff and doing it properly. “Well, that worked. I searched just the number like you said and it popped right up under the DTC chart. I was typing the code exactly how it showed on the dash and assumed the manual was broken. Sorry for the cranky review. I was already stressed because the truck was in limp mode and I needed it for work. The manual is searchable, I just didn’t know the right way to search it. Hi Linda! Diagnostic codes are not always formatted the same way customers type them. For example, a code shown on the dash as “P0420” may be written in the manual as “P 0420,” “Diagnostic Trouble Code P-0420,” or sometimes differently depending on the manufacturer. On some equipment and powersports manuals, codes may also be grouped by system rather than listed in a single code index. We recommend searching just the numeric portion of the code first, or searching “DTC” and then checking the diagnostic code table. You can also look under sections named “Self-Diagnosis,” “Fault Code Table,” “Trouble Code Chart,” or “Diagnostic System.” If you send us the code and machine/vehicle details, we can help point you to the right diagnostic section."

“Ok that explains it. I grabbed the maintenance manual and thought that was all there was. I didn’t realize the machine had separate books for service and hydraulics. Support found the right manual and yeah, that one has the pump breakdown I needed. I was pretty pissed because the machine was down and I blamed the site too quick. One manual may cover operation and maintenance, while another covers workshop repair procedures, hydraulic systems, engine repair, electrical testing, or component overhaul. From what you described, it sounds like you opened the operation and maintenance manual rather than the workshop/service repair manual. Hi Kevin, In many OEM powersports manuals, the carburetor service procedure and the engine tune-up specifications are kept in separate sections. The carburetor chapter usually explains how to remove, clean, inspect, and adjust the carburetor itself, while the idle speed specification is often listed under “Tune-Up,” “Periodic Maintenance,” or “Engine Specifications.” For your ATV manual, please check the maintenance specifications table near the beginning. You should find the standard idle RPM range there, along with valve clearance, spark plug gap, and other tune-up specs. If you still can't find it, send us your exact model and engine size, and we'll be more than happy to point you in the right direction.

“For a body repair guy, this is damn useful. I need measurements, sectioning, panel removal, and where it needs welding or what adhesive to use. The manual has all the OEM procedures written clearly. Easy to use on the job too. Used it on a few body jobs now and the info has been reliable. Really all that matters.”

“At first I needed valve body info for a 6L80 that came into the shop. The manual had hydraulic circuit diagrams, solenoid resistance, check balls, and all the charts I needed. Since then, I downloaded a few GM and ZF manuals too and the quality has been there every time. No blurry scans here, actually readable. Totally recommend!”

“Taking care of old mercedes is a fun hobby but it's never an easy feat. I used to find my manuals on forums but nowadays its too risky... can't trust any link anymore, had too many bad experience.
