“We phoned up to arrange a viewing for a specific car. The salesman told us it was available and we agreed a viewing time. When we got there, the car salesman seemed to hesitate, turned around and told us we could look at it only.
We then got a long winded nonsense about he can show, but it can't go, still stuff to do to it, like an MoT etc (it showed on the MoT checker website as MoTed last month). He pointed at all the cars he needs to put through the workshop, that there is a queue, making us generally feel like an inconvenience.
So we could look at it, but not open it, let alone test drive it. Never heard anything like it. Either you have a car for sale, or you don't. Bottom line, if you like stories, wasting time, burning up fuel around the country or feeling like an inconvenience, hit these guys up. They are really good at it.”
