Was pretty good experience. Nice to get multiple quotes all in one place, all in the same format, without having salesmen wasting your time and giving you the hard sell. Also very nice to be able to click on links and check out the specs on panels and invertors contained in each quote. Did get a lot of emails and texts from a few companies trying to convince me why they were better, but that's better than having a salesman in my house blowing smoke up my shorts. I did have one company not affiliated with energy sage come out and give me a quote. Ridiculous price and a lot of smoke being blown my way - pretty much confirmed the value of using energy sage. The only real let down was my energy sage "advisor". Their available phone times did not fit my schedule, and questions asked by email went unanswered or when they were answered, the answers really didn't help much. If you wish to make an informed decision, you are going to have to do some research on your own. That being said, I did choose a company from my energy sage quotes, and if I had to do it again, I would use energy sage again. My system is not yet installed, so whether or not going solar was the right choice remains to be seen. As a final note, I have a shingled roof, and the shingles were old enough to need replacing - something to consider. If you put a system on your roof and need to reshingle years down the road, the complexity and cost of the re-roof will be much much higher. And I discovered that having a roof redone is NOT cheap. That alone is costing me as much as the solar system. That part sucks, but in my case, I could not see any way around it. So, I'm pleased that I found energy sage, as it definitely helped in making a decision. Whether or not the decision I made pays off for me remains to be seen.

Found EnergySage a very efficient and effective way of getting multiple proposals for a solar power installation for my house. The companies are quick to provide size and cost information. I also found the reviews of the installers and equipment very helpful in assessing the proposals.

I am very pleased with EnergySage. At first I tried to gather bids on my own but got bogged down in getting reliable information about solar providers. I found EnergySage from my web research and gave them a try. Within days, I had received many bids and EnergySage's website organizes the bids in a very readable manner. I also very much appreciated being able to speak to one of their experts regarding my solar needs. I fully lend my recommendation to others regarding EnergySage.

EnergySage was a huge help finding the solar system we needed. We received multiple quotes and selected a local contractor to design and install our system. Electric rates are rising and we’re locked in for the next 25 years.

It was wonderful to have quotes for solar panels but also to have a consultant to explain. Thanks for the help.

Best experience I have had with solar. No pressure and salesy phone calls. Maria was super nice and a wealth of knowledge about solar and was very patient answering all questions.

Used EnergySage to find a trustworthy residential solar installer. Had a choice of several good ones that, when talking to them, felt right as well. Narrowed it down to SunVena and enjoyed the relationship so far. EnergySage process was pretty easy to use and good companies to work with.

My experience with energysage was hassle free. Rather than calling or emailing multiple solar installers, I was able to go through energysage who was able to help with much of the leg work.

I installed 24 solar panels on my home in Utah in 2012 and have a good working knowledge of the process and what is involved. Energy Sage helped me sort out the best contractors for my next project in Florida. Energy Sage filters out the less experienced and competent providers and can make recommendations to ensure that you are getting the best fit for your job. In addition, they can answer any questions you might have without any bias. I highly recommend them.

Extremely helpful platform as we navigated the process of collecting bids and selecting a solar installation company. Energy Sage provided a plethora of information and resources to help us in the decision-making process and made themselves available for any questions. It was a relief to know the bidding companies were already vetted for certifications and reliability. I have already recommended EnergySage to several people interested in solar conversion.

energysage was extremely helpful in researching solar options and provided quotes from multiple installers. My assigned energysage rep was able to answer all of my questions and even reviewed proposals for anything out of the ordinary.

It was good for initial consultation. After selecting a vendor they recommended, they treat you differently. Had an issue from the project with the vendor they recommended and contacted EnergySage. *crickets* went radio silent.

I found the EnergySage portal to be extremely helpful both for research and for obtaining quotes from qualified providers. I particularly appreciated the detailed specs and ratings of panels & inverters, and of solar system installers. I also had a couple of calls with EnergySage Advisors, and they were also very helpful.

EnergySage was very helpful comparing quotes for my solar cell project. But I think when you pick a contractor you should make sure you do not pay all the money at the completion of installation, and withhold as much as 25% to be paid after all the inspections are passed and you are in the electric company's queue to have your new meter installed.
