Energy sage found me the best 5 options for what I wanted, I also reached out to others on my own and it turned out energy sage was correct on its recommendation for installers also appreciate the research I could do on panels and companies. The solar panel game is pretty overwhelming with options and devices energysage helped tremendously

Extremely useful resource. The website is well organized, clear and unbiased, I believe, with info from a variety of sources and companies available. The sessions for advice and answering questions were also very helpful. Though our installation is not yet complete we are confident in the choices we made after feeling totally confused in the beginning.

Energysage made it very easy to educate myself on the solar technology being quoted, compare quotes, and communicate with the solar companies. Their website eliminated the direct phone calls and made scheduling meetings and asking questions a breeze. I also used the website to provide the same information to every company that provided a quote. If a given company asked a question during the zoom meeting, I shared it with all of the companies. To my surprise, I gained a lot of insight by how they responded or sometimes asked additional questions.

I don't think there is any value add here. As a consortium of contractors, it isn't clear there is any fiduciary responsibility to the user. All of the due diligence requirements remain with the buyer, and I encourage folks to be very careful before signing anything. Check and recheck whether the bids actually meet the necessary specs. It may be useful as a directory of contractors.

The Energy Sage site is a fantastic resource for information an professional help. I received a bid for solar through them and ended up using that contractor for the work. Leading up to the bid process, however, Energy Sage was a great place to go for info on everything from tax credits to hardware reviews. They also provide personal, professional help if you wanted it.

We were introduced to EnergySage by our local utility. We were considering solar, but the paperwork seemed overwhelming. We are happy with the process, the price, the people, and the finished product.

What I would like to say about Energy Sage, was that it narrowed down my search of solar installing professionals, to where I could make an (somewhat) educated guess, as to whom I would like to install my solar project for me. Plus, it put me in contact with several different installers, while keeping me anonymous, so I would not be harassed. Also, a shout out to Mr. Ben Guyette, an "energy guru" who helped me make a "more than educated" choice of solar providers. However, after posing a question, to which I got a response from Mr. Guyette, a second question was left unanswered. I can only surmise, that it is only "one free question per customer". I realize that Mr. Guyette is most likely a VERY busy man, so I am willing to let that slide. That however, is the reason I only awarded 4 stars. Had I gotten an answer to a second, or further questions, a fifth star would have been awarded.

EnergySage provides a single location from which you can obtain multiple quotes from solar vendors that have been prescreened. As a retired construction professional, I am quite comfortable with the procurement of proposals, evaluation and awarding of a project to the organization that presents the best value. A prescreening process is something that most construction firms have in place for potential subcontractors, EnergySage provides the prescreening service for the individual in search of competent solar contractors, thereby providing a level of confidence that you are dealing with organizations that can fulfill their obligations. Evaluation of the multiple proposals received involves the evaluation of many aspects of the proposed equipment. Unless you're involved in the solar business yourself, researching all the choices can be daunting as you try to get apples to apples comparisons. EnergySage has already done all that work for you. Plus, you can spend time on the phone with an EnergySage Energy Advisor to help you go through the proposals, understand the various equipment options, and narrow down the field to a few that best fit your project needs and provide the best value offers. This consultation alone saves hours of work and worry on the part of the buyer. Once narrowed down to a select few, you can focus on those contractors and their proposals. This time is then spent getting the details of the proposals to match your specific needs and getting a better feel for which contractor will best suit your needs and provide the greatest value. I can’t stress enough how beneficial the information available on the EnergySage website and the time spent with the Energy Advisor can be to the successful completion of your project.

After having endless solar salesmen ring my doorbell and having meeting where no one got back to me, I was relieved to find a different way. EnergySage allowed me to get bids, find vendors, and compare deals. I was able to get more information and get questions answered through the message exchange without revealling my email. I had a good meeting to discuss options with my energysage representative. I chose my lead vendor, had the system installed, and am awaiting final inspection.

I contacted EnergySage regarding solar panels and soon received seven quotations for panel installation. The scope of the quotes were all very similar, but the prices varied considerably. It turned out that one of the quotes was from a solar company that are located here in my small town. Coincidentally they happened to be the lowest bid. The name of the company is Texas Solar Professional. After a site visit from the owner and one of their designers, I signed up. What a great company to work with. Any and all questions were answered promptly. Installation actually took two days mainly due to bad weather. I signed up for a net metering contract with a Texas power company and yesterday received my first monthly bill, $0 and $14 credit towards next months bill. If you are thinking of installing Solar and are located in the DFW metroplex I highly recommend that you talk to Texas Solar Professional.
