“I you live in small and medium towns or rural areas, EnergySage is awesome. It breaks the monopoly that local solar companies have on your market. I got seven quotes, three on EnergySage and four local. The local companies weren't even in the ballpark in regards to the size of system needed and the price. They didn't even know or care if my home was north-south facing or east-west facing. the winning bid assigned an engineer to design my system using very modern CAD modeling. You're not going to get any of that with a small town solar installer.”

“Update: revising our review to 5 starts. There was a problem with the profile due to some missing information, and after calling Energy Sage to get this fixed, started getting quotes almost immediately. Wow. Thank you to the Energy Sage advisor, Malcolm. We have now picked our Solar Panel company based on the recommendations of the panels, the detailed estimates that makes it so easy to compare all the quotes. One hint - make sure that the solar panel company uploads their quotes to Energy Sage - they may claim that the quote detail on Energy Sage is not accurate or does not have all the details, but that is not really true. Excellent web site with a lot of features on the panels, their efficiency etc. Suggestion for web site - would be great if you also kept the history of the different quotes (e.g. if we revise the quote, only the latest is available, we have to make sure to download the previous version).”

“I have been solar-curious. Researching the options and possibilities was a daunting task, especially given the fear that lots of construction groups might have jumped on the generous government rebates without having the necessary training to do a goo installation job. When I discovered Energysage, they cleared up my fears. They had done the vetting that I felt ill-equipped to do myself. I received two proposals from firms that had good reputations and promised to do professional work. Not only did Energysage rank the firms, but they gaver detailed information about the gear that the respective firms would install. With the assistance of an Energysage representative, I picked one that was cost-effective and seemed professional. I am still in the process of getting the permits and submitting rebate applications. While not at the point where I can give an assessment of the installation (because it's not done yet and I have yet to receive product), I am upbeat, given the detailed handholding by Energysage and the company I chose.”

“Energysage is such a simple and straightforward program. They help explain Solar, vet contractors and then help you get competing quotes for your property. I found the way the quotes were explained simply and easy to understand. They also have a actual person who can answer your questions about quotes. I didn't feel pressured because the contractors couldn't contact me directly so only contacted those who I wanted to work with. Nothing had to be signed before I felt I fully understood as well. Highly recommend”

“I used EnergySage for solar panels I purchased. By putting in basic information for the system, I received multiple eight bids to compare for pricing, equipment manufacturer, warranty, and company info. From Energy Sage, this information came through email so not bombarded with calls! An EnergySage advisor helped review the quotes and covered an overview if important parts to narrow down to three companies to contact for firm quotes and interviews. The winner was there recommendation with best pricing, local company that does installs for other companies that used best rated equipment. Thanks EnergySage! Erik Haffner, homeowner & engineer.”
