“Highly recommended website for someone who is new to thinking about getting solar panels installed at their home or business. There is plenty of educational material and more importantly, companies that have been vetted to ensure the installation is smooth. I contacted quite a few companies that were listed here and almost everyone stopped by to provide an estimate. We were able to select a company that we felt met our needs and the installation was quick and painless.”

“This is a very comprehensive site that gives you all the tools needed to make a educated decision For your needs as a home owner. 100% would recommend. I really appreciate the advisor as a neutral party giving feed back on the quotes allowing for a un biased second set of eyes.”

“Energy sage was patient with us as we explored solar for the first time. They were friendly and linked us to a vendor who was kind and trustworthy. I only wish that we could have had more selection for comparison as we were only given one choice from EnergySage.”

“Energysage really did not help us at all. The quotes we received from all solar vendors were tentative estimates at best and basically changed immediately by thousands of dollars once we got into further discussions with each company. The solar advisor from each company that works with Energysage is not the solar advisor you ultimately deal with so there is no personal concierge that EnergySage offers to be. That defeats the whole purpose of a one-stop shop like this touted to be. Energysage was good for basic information but is not worth using. You're better off contacting the solar company directly to get accurate quotes and assistance when planning your solar project.”

“Great to be able to learn about solar and be an educated consumer. Introduced me to several local contractors. The only downside was only one of five installers were able to address a new construction project.”

“EnergySage opened my eyes to the options within the solar world. I loved the way that the process worked with proposals received without having to discuss them with every company out there. Once I reviewed all my proposals then I was able to contact the ones that I was interested in and start discussions. All vendors were courteous and explained their quotes and other options. Once I made my decision it was easy to notify the other vendors that I had selected and didn't have to deal with the sometimes uncomfortable process of saying no to everyone after choosing a company. All the information provided by EnergySage was detailed and accurate; the way they present side-by-side comparisons of your quotes really helps understand what you're looking at. If it wasn't for EnergySage I would probably have gotten into not a great deal with another company if I had even decided to go solar. Totally recommend the amazing free services from EnergySage to anyone exploring or considering solar for their home or business!”

“Although I only received one quote on EnergySage, it was much better than quotes I received from local providers. Also, the website is chock-full of information regarding solar panels, inverters, etc and provides you the ability to compare them. I love the site and highly recommend it!”

“When I started investigating solar, I didn't know who to call or what to look for. EnergySage was incredibly helpful! I didn't have to lift a finger to get quotes from multiple professional installers. I had access to plentiful resources to learn about different equipment and financing options, and to compare quotes and installers. And having a personal contact who I could discuss the quotes with helped validate what I was seeing and hearing, finally leading to my selection of an installer within a month of starting this journey. I'd recommend anybody to start their search with EnergySage!”

“The education resources and the blind bid process made selecting a Solar contractor a very smooth process. It would be nice if there was a way to add contractors to bid that are outside the Energy Sage contractor pool.”

“Energy Sage was very helpful for gathering information, collecting and comparing bids. They also have a rating system for contractors with stars ratings and reviews. You can also communicate directly with Energy Sage reps and contractors with the messaging service on their site. And the quotes were very competitive.”

“We received 3 solar quotes within 2 days. We were able to contact the companies for clarifications. We were able to look up reviews of each company and find out how far away they were or how local they were. We went with a local company with great reviews. Energy Sage really made our solar search very easy and productive”

“I went into using EnergySage with very little expectations. I was pleasantly surprised when the site did exactly what they promised, got me the best quotes and provided a barrier between the contractors and me, avoiding the annoying sales pitches, emails and phone calls. I ended up selecting a company who provided a quote through EnergySage and would highly recommend using them if you’re seeking quotes for solar installation.”

“I am very glad I heard about Energy Sage. I and my husband wanted to check out solar panels but when we tried, we got hounded by solar companies. With Energy Sage, we got to learn about a range of technology options first. When we decided to go ahead, Energy Sage helped us get 3 offers from companies first vetted as reputable. Our Energy Sage advisor was able to explain the big AND small details about the 3 offers without pushing us to select one. We are in the process of getting the necessary building permits and hope to have the full system installed and operating soon.”

“EnergySage was instrumental in my education about home solar. I knew next to nothing prior to using this resource. I greatly appreciated that it served as a venue for obtaining and reviewing quotes from solar providers. Being able to compare equipment, warrantees and actual companies was invaluable.”
