The service was helpful and provided most of the information needed to evaluate different electricity providers. ComparePower did have a helpful graph that showed the annual energy cost based on my previous 12 months of usage. This was felpful when comparing fixed versus variable rates. I was not able to find a way to compare plans with free energy usage. Overall 4 out of 5.

Easy to use and found me a great electricity plan. Only downside was I had to agree for someone to monitor my smart meter for a year (no cost but still didn't want it).

Comparison tool on actual use and real rates is awesome. My only complaint is that not all providers are shown, at least not when using other apps that compare rates. Yours is the best one though there’s still room to improve.

Easy to use but need to beware once you choose a REP reviewing their Energy Facts Label and understanding it is Key. At the top of list many are giving Credits!! Beware it does not offset the Credit. When it says usage of 1,000KWH at 0.120KWH it is actually 1,000 to 1,999KWH usage, once you go over or even under there is a COST Increase!!! So you are paying a Fixed Rate for all usage. You are better off going to another provider down the page and look for a higher rate but it is fixed for all usage. You can look at your usage SmartMeter Texas to see the months you go over or under or calculate your average to choose the right plan. Good Luck.....

An excellent service especially at analyzing pricing at different usages. The knock to the 4 Star is because I mistyped my DOB when signing up and could not go back to change it. The system would not allow it that I could find. This caused a problem by requiring a deposit from the electricity company, which I never had to do. To fix it, I used my wife's name and DOB.

Saw this and decided to give it a try. Positives, easy user interface, straight forward instructions, options with explanations, and the lowest cost from the search providers I tried. I like the fact that it lets you see both advertised price and calculated based on actual usage. Also liked that it gave an appropriate warning that the plan was for only six months and did not include higher usage months. The only downside was it did not like my VPN and required closing VPN to allow access, which I would prefer not to have to do.

You have a phone # listed with each offer but when you call, you only get endless music. I finally gave up and changed my mind and did the online sign-up, but would have preferred to speak to a live person. Have an announcement regarding business hours or just say that sign up is online only. I waited 10+ minutes and waisted time. For people less savvy regarding energy labels and how to pick a plan, a live rep to talk to is missing in your business model. Yes, you can try to bot everything but a cetain segment of consumers will still prefer to talk to a live person before they sign up with a plan.
