“Enterprise rent a car screwed me over. Progressive insurance rented a car for me through enterprise in Stafford Tx location while my vehicle was being repaired at Helfman Ford. When I picked up the rental I had to put my credit card on file to secure the car. They also told me when my vehicle was ready I could leave the rental at the body shop and they will pick it up. When my truck was complete I called enterprise to inform them that my truck was ready and I would be returning their vehicle. Oct. 7 2024 I picked up my vehicle and left their car at the body shop. I also informed enterprise their vehicle was there for pickup. The service guy at Helfman Ford also called enterprise to inform them that their car was there for pickup. Enterprise didn’t pickup their car until Oct. 9 2024 Progressive insurance stop paying for the rental on Oct. 7 2024 the day I picked up my truck. Enterprise in turn charged my credit card for the 2 days the rental set at the ford body shop. I have called their customer service 6 times speaking to several agents and they telling me someone from that region will contact me. As Jan 18 2025 no one has called me yet. I would never rent another vehicle from enterprise rent a car.”
“Terrible experience, complete lack of respect for customers
For the second year in a row, I tried renting a car with Enterprise, and it was an extremely frustrating experience. I planned everything in advance: made the reservation, called the store to confirm the availability, and on the day of pickup, they simply didn’t have the car I reserved.
This forced us to spend the entire day scrambling to find another car. Several stores claimed over the phone that they had a car available, but when we arrived, there was nothing. We lost an entire day of our trip because of this company.
On top of that, the cost was outrageous. I was prepared to pay $1,400, but I ended up having to rent from another company (Alamo) that actually had the car. However, since it was last minute, I paid double the price.
This happened both years I tried using Enterprise, and in both cases, it showed a complete lack of respect for their customers. I will never rent from this company again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone!”
“Res 17861858 I got my Reservation confirmed very important trip to California. I get there and as easy as 123 lady says we don't take same day reservations. This late in the day I have to go find a better reliable company. All because of incompetent employees that can't provide courtesy calls.
I now I am only speaking up in the wind. For what it's worth.”
“I rented a pickup in December in Las Vegas and I forgot something in the pickup and it came back an hour later and they told me that they couldn't show me the truck anymore because they were working on it and that I should make a claim and after two hours of waiting there I They said they had already rented it and I made the claim and they never returned the piece I forgot. I went a few days later and the truck was there without the part I forgot and they never gave it back to me in the end they stole it”
“I rented from enterprise located in Charlesglen Toyota 7687 110 Ave NW Calgary.
The service was superb and the Rep Tomas Mena-Size was awesome he went aboveboard to ensure I was happy with the vehicle and service. I would not hesitate to rent from them again.”
“Had a car reserved through insurance. I called the day before to confirm confirmation, next day get there to get the car and was told very unprofessionally that there was not a car available. They had cars on the lot , but bc I was through insurance I could it rent ine. I even stayed I would pay the difference bc I was by myself and stranded . The salesman acted as though he did not hear me. I called customer service and was told the district manager would call me ASAP.. still waiting. Do better enterprise!!”
“If I could leave a zero I would. Ordered a car and got confirmation on a Tuesday and it's Thursday and I still don't have a car. Can they even be called a rental car service.”
“Bainbridge, GA store never answer the phone and my daughter was told to pick her car up Wednesday she works over a hour and 15 minutes away so she called several times and so did I and "NO" answer. So she drove to enterprise to pick up her car to be told it would be the next day. So she was told over the phone by one person that car would be ready for her on Wednesday between 9am and 5pm.”
“Had a reservation and confirmation number for a car rental and when my wife got there they said they had no vehicles. She Tried a different Enterprise in the next town the following day they were supposed to be open at 9:00 a.m. and went there at 11:00 and they weren't even there. Have called their corporate number and have just been given the runaround. If you need to get somewhere and have plans don't ever rent from Enterprise you're not guaranteed to have a car.”

I was given a car with a leak in the rear tire.
Before you get the car, they ask you 1000 questions to cover their ass. 4 contacts. Referrals. Domestic bills!!! I saw a poor women on Xmas Eve being refused because she only has a débit card. Illegal! Discriminatory
In my case when I retourned the car they were paid by USAA to drop me at the repair Shop. The driver dropped me I. The middle of nowhere and I had to call a Uber by a freezing Day.”

I have been asking for my money back and I have not received my $372 as of yet. Iam tired of calling and leaving messages with this group on seigen lane BR, La. “The worst service I have every had from a rental car service. It makes you not want to rent a car. This is about the 5th time I have had trouble with enterprise. I was going on a birthday trip for my girlfriend and the Bastrop la enterprise messed that up. I made a reservation on a insurance claim to get a discount. So the day of they called and said they had no rentals. So I waited till later and they had a rental but wouldn't give me the discount. So I missed the whole trip cause they wanted to charge me full price which was to much. I am done with them . They are not reliable at all.”

“About a month ago, my daughter rented a car hers was in an accident. They charged her account put a hold on her card. I said that the money was coming back. The money never came back then they took money out of my account for her car unauthorized. There are nothing but a money racket scheme trying to get money from people people in offices do not know their ass from a hole in the ground. I wouldn’t recommend them to anybody call to do is rip you off they’re not even worth the one star I had to press the right this review.”
“I have been a valued customer of enterprise for 5 + yrs today will be the last time I rent from them. They change their minds like I change my kids diapers!! They only offer rides when it’s condiment to them or for them. They reserved vehicles then when u get to location to pick it up it’s not there or they send you to another location. Then they won’t give you the ride to get there!! This company has went to pure ahit hiring all these young know it all kids that can’t even count money. Enterprise has ran a monopoly and took over Fayetteville NC market and shitting on every client!!!”
“While on a business trip in Huntsville, Alabama my rental car broke down on Monday November 16th in a mall parking lot. Enterprise roadside assistance could have dealt with the situation better. They called a tow truck. The tow truck driver called and said he was on his way. After almost 2.5 hours I called the tow truck driver and asked where he was. He said he was called to another tow and someone else would come and would find out where he was and call me back. He never called. I called roadside assistance back and the girl did not even care that I had been waiting this long and said she could call another tow truck and her computer was showing it would be another hour. I told her that was unacceptable and I needed to get to Huntsville Airport to get another vehicle. She then said I send an uber and send a tow truck to get the vehicle. Upon the uber bringing me back to the airport, the manager Terynce was upset that I experienced all this. Terynce and Bethany could not have been more kind and helpful to me. They made sure I was put into another vehicle. Terynce even provided his cell if I ran into anymore problems while in Huntsville. I so appreciate the wonderful customer service from the Huntsville airport team. I do think that the roadside assistance girls that are part of that area of enterprise need to be spoken to and need to more attentive to customers that are stranded for 2.5 hrs is unacceptable and there should be more effort to stay on a tow coming for the customer.”
“I have hired many vehicles from different car rental companies and I have never been ripped off by anyone of them except Enterprise. Blaming me for a nick in a tyre on a Fiat 500 and charging me nearly £170 when I picked up the car the woman that came out side with said there is nothing wrong with the xar when I started to look over it. Because she didn't want to stand there with me because it was pouring down with rain as said again to me that she could ashore me there was nothing wrong with the car. The nick in the tyre could of been missed in the dry let alone the pouring rain. I will never use Enterprise again. And will post on social networks to all the people I know of what your company is like.”
