“I booked a rental car and when I went to pick it up they wouldn’t rent in to me because I don’t have a major credit card. I have credit/debit cards and have used them to rent from enterprise in the past but the port charlotte Florida location would not allow me to do this. Also there was a long wait at the pick up counter so my wife had to walk back to our hotel to check out. She had a credit card but wouldn’t let me use it because she was not physically there. The walk was almost a mile so I was not having her walk back again. I wish they told you upfront that they took major credit cards only. Now I am stranded for 8 hours with nothing to do. Thanks enterprise!”

“On two occasions the cars smelled of cigarettes and weed. Advised manager and nothing was done but to promise one day free rental. And that coupon didn't arrive until the day before the expiration date.
I will try to avoid enterprise in the future.”

“My husband had a business account with Enterprise, where he rented a truck for his work. He decided to return the truck because business was slow in December. However, two months later, Enterprise withdrew over $700 from his account without authorization.
We have called and left messages to request a refund, but we have not received a return call. Whenever we try to speak with a member of management, we are told that we will be transferred, but we still end up leaving a message. This has been going on for weeks with no response from Enterprise.
This is poor business practice, and we will be taking further action.”

“They keep giving round-about ways to pay and when I'd bring in exactly what they needed, said they need a different pay method go with what they recommended and said the same thing. Never a definite way when the website I used took my card and authorized my card to be on file while my other one did not as I got there the said neither card would be able to work even though it met the requirements of all regulations. Disappointed, lost my business for good I do not recommend to anybody especially if you are without a vehicle temporarily. Go somewhere else”

“Worse customer service I have ever experienced. Car broke down in a blizzard. I called the company road service. This happened on Saturday. They told me if I wanted a replacement car, I would have to go from Oshawa to Toronto Airport. I said I can not it is a blizzard. I had my grandson with me. Anyway, 5 phone calls to customer service?, and 5 tow truck calls to me, I still have no car replaced. Like, it is Monday night. I now have to wait until Tuesday for a call from a “ Manager”. Like what heck. Less than 15,000 kms, and it overheats?? Come on. I had to find a ride from the breakdown site to my home 50 kms away. Thanks. Geography lesson.”
“Made online reservation at airport location, but when I arrived there I was told no cars would be available for the next twelve hours. What upset me even more was the attendant telling me they tired to notify me which was a lie. Very unprofessional service, will avoid them based on this experience.”

Called their rental number and went through the process and completed selecting and approval of rental only to have the pickup location call me and say they had no cars available. You would think that a rental company that's been in business this long that they would have a better inventory tracking system.”
